Yikes, where to start? Came in for the first time and not one person said hello or greeted us. A girl with curly reddish hair just barked at us saying “sit wherever”. Um ok, thanks. Threw menus down at the table without saying anything else, then our waiter comes over (he was nice at least) and explains that they don’t have any pizza sauce at the moment so we either wait 30 mins extra or get something without pizza sauce. Running out of pizza sauce! Not sure where the replacement sauce was coming from in 30 mins, Hy-Vee I guess? Anyways, kids were hungry so decide to order a pepperoni pizza with Alfredo sauce as a substitute. Comes out about 20 mins later, absolutely COVERED in grease. Realized after eating a few slices, there was actually no sauce on this pizza at all. We couldn’t tell because of the absolute drenching of grease. Our daughter (who is a pizza fanatic) wouldn’t eat more than a bite. Only reason this warrants 1 star is our waiter was nice and made things right with some billing miscommunication. Needless to say this was a one and done try of this place as we wont be back. Sad because we really wanted to like this place – we just moved to the area and live just down the street.

I haven’t visited this location since it was Crust prior to that restaurant closing amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. I’d seen Mio Russo and Coffee Apothecary spring up in it’s place since moving back to the Quad Cities and amidst some last-minute holiday shopping, decided to stop in to try Mio Russo.

The food was good, place was clean. We visited for a late lunch around 2 PM. Very few patrons because of the time but the service was slow. Was happy to see the lunch menu went until 4 PM. It’s a little hard to get to from the East as you have to go behind several businesses but we had no trouble. I would like to go back and try the Pizza and Pasta selections.

I went here to enjoy a meal during my Birthday Weekend. The food was absolutely to die for. VERY good quality and quantity. My entire family (including a few picky kids) left happy and full! We will definitely be back!

Service and cheese burger pizza on the New York style crust was great! A little disappointed they didn’t have any Detroit style crust and the cocktails were a little pricy.

I’ve been here twice now and was impressed both times. The NY style slice is gigantic and extremely tasty! The Italian sausage and wild mushroom was fantastic. My daughter’s pasta dish had tons of flavor as well. Good soup too!
