This is from a few years back, but we ordered some food to go and were very excited about trying them out. It happened to be on the same night as a street party in Oneonta. I arrived to pick up our food and thought the place was really nice. Unfortunately, our food sat on the counter for at least 20 minutes while the bartender made drinks for people who came in off the street for drinks. I’m not sure why someone else could not have helped me since they were not that busy. I thought the situation kind of sucked because my food was cold when we got home. It would have been excellent, otherwise. Oh well

Nice little place. Service was fantastic!!! Interior design has a great appeal. The pasta we had was pretty standard. It was good and I have no complaints on flavors or portions, but it didn’t set itself apart from other dishes at similar eateries. I would eat here again if I’m in the area.

We have eaten here 3 times in 2 weeks it is that good! This hidden gem is the spot to get great food. My husband and I have voted this as our new favorite place. The land & sea is absolutely wonderful & the blackened tilapia is amazing. Oh, and the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had. Key lime is spot on as well.

I cant believe how many bloated sodium lovers eat here. The service was good and the place was clean but all of our food was heavily over salted. Literally to the point we could not eat it. I ordered the ravioli and the sauce tasted like kraft mac n cheese powder. It was thin and watery. Why was there squash in the chicken parm? Who is in charge of the kitchen? We won’t be going back. Only fat southern people like this lousy excuse for Italian food.

Always had a good experience here until tonight due to a waiting list to dine. There were 5 open tables when we arrived and there was nobody physically waiting but we were going to have to wait 30 minutes until they called people to drive back for a table. Why had they not already been called?

This is one of the unknown gems of the Birmingham area. We drive 20 miles from Pinson to get there and we encourage people from further to go. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere.

The food, the service the attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. My wife and I used to go to a different 5-star restaurant in New Orleans every year for our anniversary. Mio Sogno was right there with most of them.

Went here last night. Food was A1 but the service was a 0. I watched other tables be over serviced while we waited. Then to get told..”we are busy tonight” after going to one table 7 times and walking past us. I won’t play the race card, but let’s just say we were the only ones there who got subpar service.

Honest review…the restaurant has a small town feel, which is appropriate considering the location. The food is average Italian food. The sauces seemed to be made in house which was also a little disappointing. The sauce for the ravioli was very watery but it did have decent flavor. My wife described it as going to a friends house where they cooked a pretty good dinner for you. If you don’t want to cook or clean dishes you have about 4 options in this area and this one isn’t a bad choice.
