We are visiting from out of town and wanted to try this place. Their concept of buffet sides is interesting. There’s a lot of variety to choose from. But, the chicken lacks the peri peri kick. It was a bit dry. Since it was busy day, we had to wait for the sides. Also, there shouldn’t be an extra charge for sauces. If they can work on that, the place will be even better. The customer service is great. The ambiance is amazing.

Fantastic meal tonight at the new Mirchi Peri Peri near LaCenterra in Katy. The chicken dishes were delicious with a great mix of sauces, spices, and very flavourful rice. The owner was very friendly and gave excellent advice on dishes to try and service. The atmosphere was good, but nothing photo worthy.

Under new management as of about a month ago. The owner, Sal, was very attentive and the service was great! The food was all delicious! We got the whole chicken with spicy garlic sauce (mixture of hot and garlic), and creamed corn and spicy rice. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice and convenient location just next to the La Centerra shopping area. I was amazed at how clean the place was and how courteous the staff was. They recommended the grilled chicken bowl, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Silverware was clean and neatly packaged. The staff personally brought out the plate and checked back to see if everything was perfect, which it was. Chicken was very good, served hot from the grill, and salad was fresh. Very satisfied with the meal and would recommend!

Had the chicken special bowl with hot garlic sauce and shared two sides (coleslaw and cream cheese corn). The chicken was charred, seasoned well, and the sauce mixed in well with the chicken. The cream cheese corn could be better more cheese, but it was still tasty!

Just stopped by on a whim and it was absolutely worth it. The food was cooked well, chicken was not dry and veggies were freshly steamed. Our waiter Dylan (if I recall correctly) was very knowledgeable and quick to recommend unique choices. It being my first time in, I really appreciated the suggestions. The owner stopped by our table as well and told us about his flavor fusions. We were very surprised that his restaurant has only been open for a few months. Can’t wait to see this business flourish!

AMAZING! The whole experience was the best, Salman the new owner was extremely helpful on what to order, so so friendly, he even gave us free 3 piece chicken leg, let us know about the buy 1 and take 1 home deal, seriously the best customer service. The food was full of flavor, great portions, unique flavors of sauce that all tasted bomb and he made great suggestions on what to order. He also contacted the meat distributor because my brother only eats Zabihah halal and we wanted to bring some home for him. So he contacted the distributor and sent us the certificate the day after. 10000% would go again

We enjoyed our dinner here: the chicken tender bowl and the falafel bowl. Both were delicious, filling and reasonably priced as well. The owner was super-friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome in Peri Peri…and it’s a personal pet peeve of mine when someone makes you feel unwelcome for some stupid reason (like my wife’s family…blech!). We will definitely come back to Peri Peri again!
