Cute little spot with great food, the cocktails and dessert should not be missed.

Misirizzi, visually, is a very appealing restaurant. Nice interior and decor, good lighting and candles set a lovely mood. That’s the good news. The bad news is that everything after that was downhill. Firstly, I should have known that something was amiss when I walked in and found myself to be the only diner in the restaurant at 8 PM on a midweek evening. That’s not a good sign. I was served some really mediocre, tiny baguette pieces to munch on. I ordered the endive salad with pears and Gorgonzola to start. The presentation was a major turn off. Endive is a chicory that should be highlighted in the salad, and has a bitter taste that makes it unusual. Here it was chopped like coleslaw, and mixed with very thinly sliced pear pieces and very dry blue cheese. This was certainly not a silky, luxurious Gorgonzola. It was a horrible start. Then, I ordered the shell steak for my main course. It was overcooked and dry, and again served in a visually unappealing fashion, with a small paper napkin on the plate, and the broccoli and roast potatoes mixed together. No imagination or flair whatsoever in this presentation. I was so disappointed I decided to forgo coffee and dessert . I was hoping to love this place, but Misirizzi can be summed up perfectly in one word – AVOID!

We loved this place! Standout dishes were the endive salad, bruschetta, zucchini parm, and Bolognese. Tiramisu was INCREDIBLE. The space was super cute and staff was all quite friendly.

Came here for a late lunch and thought it was great. For drinks I got the Lucifero which was really good. We got the artichokes to share and I got the black linguine. Overall the food was really good and the service was great. Their outdoor area is super cute.

Incredible food! Really kind staff with great food and drink recommendations. Absolutely beautiful interior, large enough to get a reservation on a Friday night, but small enough to feel intimate. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves good Italian food. Great date spot, group dinner spot or solo date spot. Thank you Alessandro!

The place is very cozy and they have plenty of seating (I was there with a party of 6). We walked in after the Blue Man group show on a Wednesday. The staff is very friendly.

Perfect evening! Food was incredible. Italian food of the highest quality. You have to try this place out! New favourite spot in the city.

Service was extremely quick (maybe too quick) and the atmosphere was very nice, but the food was just mediocre. If you like run of the mill, bland, and sometimes cold Italian food then you’ll like this a lot. The bread comes in a paper bag, and it’s clear it was sliced earlier in the day. The food comes extremely quick, and wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. Too much for what it was. We won’t try this one again.
