I usually make a trip to miso everytime I go down towards Olympia and lacey and used to go to this location when I worked near the mall. Always ordered the steak and had nice thinly sliced steak with an actual measurable amount. This time I was surprised to see that the steak is now cubed. It is also incredibly bland and grainy. I got 6 little cubes of steak in total which are horribly overcooked very dry and stiff for lack of a better work. I included a picture showing that even gravity didn’t bend this piece of steak and it honestly seemed like it was old. I’ll try the lacey location from now on.

A healthy choice at Capital Mall. I got the dragon bowl with curry sauce, chicken, carrots, brown rice and edamame. It was good. I would have it again. They also have miso soup.

Love Miso!! My favorite place for lunch. Used to work close to the one in Lacey but since Covid have been working from home but my husband still picks lunch up for me a couple times a month. The Seahawk Bowl is amazing!! Love their online ordering and their commitment to community. Please build one in Tumwater!

Love that they opened a Miso in the mall! That’s been my go-to spot for my lunch break ever since they moved in. Food is fresh, staff is great! My favorite item is the Ahi Tuna Bowl with all the fixings.

Food is quite good. The miso soup is good, but they need to HEAT it! Went on two separate occasions and the soup was lukewarm at best.

I happen to frequent Capital Mall, and the theater inside it fairly often. After the loss of half of the food court, the closing of Johnny Rockets and Pints & Quarts I had a rather dismal view of dining options in the mall. Then Miso opened, and I wasn’t sure what they were about, but I like to try new things, so I went in… I heard their story, chose the Tunami bowl on brown rice, and loved the mixture of the fresh vegetables and the tuna. I have been back, getting another Tunami bowl to go, which took a few moments to make from their stock on hand.

It’s gross. Got a poke bowl. The first time I tried them, my food was drenched in sauce. Second time, thought I would ask for sauce on the side so I could taste my food. Didn’t happen. Tuna Poke is 8 trillion times better.

This place used to be amazing. Last night, stopped to get a steak bowl. I commented that it didn’t seem like much steak. I was told, it was a standard amount. Brought it home and weighed it. 2 ounces of steak was what I was given. Yes, two ounces.
