Very friendly staff. Clean. The greens were delicious for them not to have any meat in them. I prefer my greens without meat, so that worked out. The wings were small and so was the muffin, but both of them were tasty. The sweet potatoes were just right. The prices are affordable. I had 3 wings, corn bread, greens and sweet potatoes. This dish was $9.99.

I’ve been going here a looonng time…..for a lot of years and have never encountered a bad experience until this night 12/26/22, stayed til close, and it was the worst. First thing, the barmaid on duty that night was unattentive and obviously only focused on the men at the bar. She was very distracted by some Que’s that were in the building; so much so my friends and I left her bar and started ordering our drinks (which we perfect) from the front bar! I don’t know if she even noticed, but I’m almost sure she didn’t care . Secondly, the food we ordered was bad, the wings hit every time but the sides… mac&cheese and greens tasted like they came straight out the can . A friend also had the bad tasting sides w/ meatloaf and says it (the meatloaf) was basic and didn’t taste like it’s normal good quality. I’m not sure what’s going on, if there’s a new cook or what but I was disappointed by night at Geno’s, for the first time.

The food was terrible, I ordered a fried chicken wing dinner with cabbage and dressing with gravy, the other one smothered wings with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The chicken was too salty, cabbage was over cooked and taste like vinegar, dressing had too much sage. They put the gravy at the bottom od the plate and put the fried chicken on top.

My wife, called many a days to have her 55 birthday party there recommended by me. 6 days in someone did give a call back. And told her she can come there , but when we arrived and gotten settled the security approach the party and quickly began asking if she called . After that a young male came to the table and proceeded with the same processes that the security did, that’s when I the person paying the bill. Asked what’s the problem because I know for a fact that she called with no answer and voicemail full. The lady that did return the call was pleasant. It seems like management is not handling the booking process. Still a fun place for friends to meet.
