The worst part of my trip! I was hoping for a better experience considering the fact that it’s named Miss Kitty’s to add to the Gun Smoke theme. We’d been driving all night. Visiting from Texas. Our hotel check in time was 3p. We were trying to wait it out by grabbing a bite to eat. What better place to go-Miss Kitty’s place. Wrong! Miss Kitty would be disappointed ☹️. We felt rushed and unwelcomed!

Stopped here today on my way to Garden City…pretty busy when I arrived but was seated quickly. If only every restaurant was like this! Outstanding huevos rancheros! Super friendly staff and they spoil you. Restaurant itself is very cool and features really neat old western movie posters…highly recommend!!

In the edge of Dodge City is Miss Kitty’s Cafe. First, we loved the theme, but the food was 100% delicious! Chili rellenó soooo good. The menu is quite diverse and will appeal to anyone.

Food is standard Mexican fare. We split one shrimp dish that was loaded with butter and garlic, served with rice. We like garlic so thought it was pretty good, but not outstanding for many it would probably be too garlicy. The side of “corn salad” was the best thing on the plate, though they couldn’t really tell us what it was (cook at our house likes to look up things once home).

Waited for 10 mins to get a table. Another 20 to get a drink and at least 20 mins to place my food order!!! The place is packed and they have 3 waitress running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Their hours SUCK!!! They don’t open till 9am and close at 3pm! This is ridiculous. Their management is obviously a joke!!! This town comes to a grinding hault at 9pm, NO EXCEPTIONS. There are thousands of truck drivers coming thru this town every day 24 hrs a day and there is no decent food anywhere after 9pm. Dodge City is such a disappointment! A decent 24 hour truck stop could make a KILLING in this town.

First time eating there. I had the chimichanga and my wife had the fajita. My chimichanga is covered in cheese sauce (yummy). The rice and beans were simple and good. The only complaint I had was that the put wet lettuce right beside the chimichanga and it made the chimi soggy rapidly.
