I’ll start by saying my visit was pleasant. Amy was genuinely nice. I ordered a #9 roast beef and sat outside, waiting for my food. It was brought to me and the sandwich was well made and the ingredients were high quality and FRESH. I didn’t pay attention to how long it took as I wasn’t in a rush. It’s not fast food and my meal value was greater than most bars/restaurants or drive thrus. It was just as expensive as any other place around. They’ve earned my business as a first time customer and local.

Our food was fantastic. However, the food prep was very slow. If you have time to relax and enjoy the wait…then I recommend the shop. If you are in a hurry…not so much. It felt a little cramped inside for me…but fortunately there were a few tables out front…and it was a beautiful day…so we sat outside.

Very cute place, but it is a very slow service. I ordered a salad, thinking it would be a quick to go order. I waited for 30 minutes. My salad said it came with cucumbers and tomatoes. Instead, I got raw zucchini and squash? The ladies there are sweet, but not to each other. The entire time I waited, I heard them bickering amongst themselves over the most petty things. Awkward. It’s a little funny. Had I not hoped for a quick lunch pick up, I may have enjoyed the bickering grandma’s making some food

Let me start by saying I very much dislike leaving negative reviews, especially for local businesses. I also am a fan of your roast beef sandwich with the crispy onion strings. However, we have stopped getting food here. Cranky attitudes, high prices and acting like it’s a chore to take a to go order over the phone has been enough reason to not return. Also placing a to go order over the phone only to be told it will take at least 30 minutes for two sandwiches blew my mind. The pizza place next door has a gigantic Italian panini with chips included for the same price as a half sandwich with a sample choice of pasta salad or potato salad and a slice of fruit. Maybe we will give you a try again one day.

I liked it but it wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be more “gourmet” than a “house sandwich”. Now I’m not better than a house sandwich, but I reserve that fare for my own home. As for the shop itself it was very cozy, felt just like I was in my grandma’s kitchen! I ordered the roast beef on focaccia which was fine but it was a little too toasty dare I say burnt. The side items are very tasty but way too small. Overall a nice time, the ladies are friendly, and I love downtown Acworth!

I visited this shop for the first time, and I found the lady to be very unpleasant. The shop was not crowded, and I was just one of 2 customers. She seemed to be angry about everything and spoke rudely to the customers in the shop. The other employee seemed nervous. The whole vibe made me uncomfortable. Maybe that’s part of the schtick, but I wasn’t into it. The sandwich was fine, I guess. So, I will give this review an additional star.
