We are a locally owned business. Miss Mollie has been in control here since 2013. All of her recipes utilize the freshest ingredients. Food is hand prepared and made to order. However when we are busy expect to see extended wait times during peak hours. We are a Fresh Food Joint and not a Fast Food Joint! This place is the quintessential small town diner. We had a large party of both adults and kids and the service was great. We went for brunch, and was sad that breakfast is not served past 10:30 am. So I had a burger and it was absolutely delicious. My kids enjoyed their food, mac-n-cheese and chicken tenders.

Very good. The chicken fried steak is well seasoned with crispy batter. The mashed potatoes were a little too smooth, almost like they were powdered, carrots were well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Sweet tea was delicious, just the right amount to sweet.

Definitely worth the trip!! Great Home Style cooking with good prices. Our waitress was so accommodating. We’re definitely going again! Every Friday night their buffet is fried fish and shrimp. I only wish they were open Saturday evening, they close at 2 on Saturday. We’d love meeting friends there for dinner.

A must eat when anywhere within an hours drive! The food is spectacular! The catfish was perfectly cooked and so yummy. The Mollie Burger was delicious. If you love gumbo you have to try theirs! But hands down the blt was the best thing on the menu. Plus everyone working here was so kind and hospitable. Loved it!!!

My wife and I stoped.here today, The buffet is not all you can eat it’s a one trip only and I was very hungry, I chose the double burger my wife the single . We moved her from Allen Tx 2 years ago where I lived most of my life . We know burgers , there is a new few few double throw down burger place on every corner in PLano , Allen and Dallas . I’ve tried most . Mollies burgers hands down beat all of them including Palistine & Tyler area. The perfect sear ( spot on ) the perfect spice , the roll ( mine white hers sour dough ) was right on fresh. This is a must try we will be back soon .

What a fantastic surprise! Took a small detour on our way to Nacogdoches and nearly drove by this small place in a quiet town. Burgers were perfect and we tried their amazing “Philly Cheese Steak Tots.” Everything came out hot and crisp, and the burgers were cooked as orders. Meals that came by for other diners looked just as appetizing and were very positively received. There’s also a small buffet that probably changes daily, but tonight’s catfish looked very appealing. Servers were exceptionally friendly and professional. Not sure when I’ll be back in Alto, but I’ll definitely stop in again!

Was so anxious to try this place after reading reviews. Came into town to go to church with family and was happy to see online that they opened at 9AM on Sundays. Well, this is not the case. Closed up nice and tight and not open on Sundays, or at least anymore. Super sad.

Met here for lunch with my wife and parents. 3 of us ordered burgers and we were blown away with how good they were. The sourdough bun was a hit amongst us. The fried pickles we had as an appetizer were fantastic. Also the chicken fried steak sandwich was good. Great service and great burgers means we will be visiting again!
