The staff and service here is impeccable! We were the first ones in and received our food in less than a few minutes. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and happy to extend any help we needed. Whenever I want Mission BBQ I will be coming to this location. Hands down the best customer service I’ve received in RVA and I’m an RVA native. Came in after a pretty tough 5K race and left feeling better than when I came in. Thank you all! Your attitude and energy was so appreciated and valued. Blessings to you all.

What a fantastic experience! From the gentleman who took my take out order on the phone to each employee I encountered when I came to pick up, these guys were so personable and polite! They opened the containers so I could confirm my order and packed everything up nicely. Everyone smiled and carried on conversation like they were genuinely happy to be of service. The food was perfect as well! 10/10 a good experience!

As a Gluten-free enthusiast from necessity, I rate this place fairly high for taste/tenderness of meat (and parenthetically plethora of different BBQ sauces?) and honesty (although I had to ask about it- it wasn’t a GF designation on menu) about cornbread NOT being Gluten-free. I had no reaction from potato salad, slaw and green beans and potato salad taste was a good “interesting”. As my wife and would say “this is a repeat”! Meaning if we’re back in Virginia we’ll eat here again! btw- I had the ribs, VERY tender even though it didn’t fall off the bone.

Great crust on the brisket, but the “moist” offering was a bit light on fat and rather dry. The fries were good but a bit over priced and the cornbread was ok, but not any better than a box of Jiffy Look forward to giving them another try down the road.
