The restaurant was one of the options of the meal plan at Madden’s and it far exceeded expectations. Meal was 3 course and food was outstanding. The service from Helena from Brainerd and Paul from Jamaica was superb. They both were knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely friendly. They both made the experiences wonderful. Only rated a four star as they are not open on Monday and some of the nights the service was very slow. Also if you are planning on getting the upgraded options such as the ribeye, they will run out if you eat later.

Disappointed. You have to walk very far from Parking lot! It was VERY loud. No quiet dinner here. Service was bad. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. I ordered two glasses of wine for myself as I knew it would be a long time before they returned. Food was fine, not great. I was really annoyed by how loud it was. It was hard to have a conversation with my husband. We had high hopes for this restaurant but, I know we will skip it and go elsewhere in the future.

I have to start with the service. The servers here are knowledgeable, speedy, a pleasure to talk to, and they just made it an overall pleasant experience. The food was also outstanding. My only criticism, which would have bumped this down a star if everything else hadn’t been so stellar, was the hostesses standing there joking around with each other for a couple of minutes while we stood there waiting.

First appearance was great scenery on a beautiful lake, and a little rough paint on the building. We walked in to a sign apologizing for the paint saying it will be finished. I actually laughed at that. We were extremely impressed with the staff. The food was on point. The filet was perfect. I would highly recommend. Great service and what seems to be a very well ran restaurant.

Hannah!!! By fare the best waitress We have had in the last 20 years!! Steaks where cooked to perfection, lobsters tail had to be brought back to be redone for a second time ,Fancy dining? Out of all our dining out experiences in fancy restaurants,The “ fancy” I’d have to say I’d have to give it about 3 1/2 stars the view was just OK , I’ve seen better up north, (Blue fin Bay, Mn ). Hannah should get a raise she was entertaining ,on top of everything we needed at every moment, and always had a smile on her face, it made our night. Cheers to Hannah

Quality restaurant in the Brainerd area. Setting is beautiful. Staff is welcoming and service orientated. Brought us champagne for our anniversary. Calamari was really good but you don’t need the dipping sauces. Lobster sliders were mostly breading and a bit room temp. Steak fries were excellent. Chiopino was really good and they adjusted the spice for my hubby. Berry dessert was ok but the double chocolate mousse was tasty. Nice area to walk about eating and had a bonfire.
