Everything we ordered was great. Hot, fresh, nicely plated, service was on point each time and very friendly. My only complaint is I’d like a little less spinach on mine and I wish they had salad dressing I like (maybe I’m just picky)

Mitchell’s Fish Market is a chain seafood restaurant. For seafood it is moderately priced, efficient full service. We sat at the bar table not realizing, one of the 2 bartenders will have to wait on you. There’s are at least 8 tables and 15 bar seats for 2 people to take care of so the service when busy is not the fastest or most attentive. That would be my biggest complaint but the restaurant is usually not super busy. However the food is always fresh and tasty. We had the spinach dip and crab cakes as appetizers. They both were a pleasant surprise. Not salty. Fresh crab and a delicious sauce. I ordered the sea bass with ponzu and sticky rice. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I could put these dishes against any top notch high end seafood restaurant anytime. The salmon was also just as good. Sea scallops were very fresh and sizable. I had the white sangria also and it was a refreshing happy cocktail. Worth the money and good enough to still give it 5 stars despite slow service.

Little pricey, but the food was awesome… Andy, our server, was helpful and very attentive. The decor is simple, and could be a little more interesting, but tasteful and clean. Like we said, the food was awesome… The Muscato sangria was excellent per Andy’s suggestion… Will definitely return.

Had the pecan crusted trout. Was a little overdone on top. Also had the creme brulee which was very good with a nice crisp sugar crust

My first time in and I’ll say I thoroughly enjoyed it! Not crowded at all which probably contributed to the excellent service but I was with large party. The service was friendly, efficient and correct. I think everyone appreciated that- large or small party. The food came out hot and was plated well. The dining experience overall was very nice! They did a great job. Didn’t get five stars bcz there was a salad snafu but all in all, I highly recommend.

Service was slow. ALL of the drinks were on point. Lobster bisque and clam chowder was delicious! My filet and her lobster were overcooked, but were corrected promptly. Relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely return

The food was delicious. I had the market trio which came with salmon, shrimp and crab cakes well. My wife had Shanghai seafood sampler… Let’s not forget about the jumbo as a starter was on point.

We were truly disappointed in our dining experience last night. The food was truly disgusting [Market Trio]. My frozen non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri was returned due to being bitter [Only to discover today I was charge anyway]. Our friends who live here in the area whom dine with us was disappointed as well. To make our visit worthwhile they took us next to another local venue for dessert. The restaurant has such a lovely presentation however a Chef is needed to take the dining experience to another level. I don’t enjoy writing reviews like these but honesty is important to me in making decisions in visiting a location. I went against my rule when I noticed the overall rating – never again!

I absolutely love Mitchell’s we’ve been going there for years. The carrot cake is to die for btw. I tried the fish and chips today and for a nicer restaurant I’m shocked it was so lackluster. Seems like an easy thing to make compared. The fish is about 1/2 thick if not thinner, they’re smashed flat like chicken cutlets. They’re dry inside, and mostly breading. The breading is great and very crispy but that’s all you taste. I honestly had to look and see if there was fish inside after a couple bites. The combination of the fish and the tarter sauce makes a very salty combination. The fish is also very oily. No seasoning, no flavor. I will go back to my regular crab cakes.

What a wonderful date night we had a Mitchell’s! As always the grilled oysters in their delicious garlic butter sauce drizzled with melted parmesean cheese and toasted sourdough was the perfect start to our meal. The market Trio with a Maryland crab cake, seasoned salmon, and skewer of jumbo grilled shrimp was simply sumptuous! The Trio included their corn relish, redskin smashed potatoes, and asparagus as accompaniments to the seafood and was very satisfying. Couple all that with artfully crafted cocktails and an attentive server and you will have a similar experience like we did!
