My friend and I stopped here on 12/16/2021. First-time we ate at this location. Much better. Felt welcomed,home feel vibe, It’s smelled homemade with bacon in the air. Cute very inviting. Coffee was good. The food was awesome and perfect to the eyes as it tasted! Saw this place on the Breakfast places on Wfsb Channel 3, as it made us delighted to try. We used to go to the location in Rocky Hill years ago had lot of bad experiences but this was worth the added drive. Will be back .

Had an amazing omelet and breakfast potatoes here while in Cromwell for a workshop up the road. I will make a special trip to get back there. Service quick and accurate. All customers grinning ear to ear…that’s the way I like it!. Coffee better than Dunkin 100% and costs less.

The Irish Benedict was good although the eggs didn’t have much runny stuff left. The staff is very friendly and quite efficient for a slammed Sunday. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and the spuds were great. The seedless rye was more like wheat though. The place is very clean and there is a large public parking area across the side street.

I’ve waited years to have breakfast at Mitchell’s, it was always so over crowded on the weekend and you could never get a seat! Well I finally got there early am during the week. There were no customers in the restaurant, we could sit ANYWHERE we wanted to! The service was good for first thing in the morning BUT…the food was not so good, especially the breakfast potatoes! Needless to say, I was very disappointed. Won’t go there again.
