I did return to this location on June 3, 2023 because of the food and service on my last visit. This visit wasn’t even close. After being seated based on my reservations, I didn’t even get water until 15 minutes. The reason was they didn’t know I was here. Really? Did order drinks before ordering my meal, and it didn’t arrive until I asked after 15 minutes after ordering. Then I decided to order, the meal. I did ask for the manager and he did compensate my first order of drinks. Throughout the night, I had to ask to refill the water. When the food was finally brought out, it was a different server and I let them know I wanted another drink. This is rather unusual for a Mitchell’s Steakhouse. Made me thing after spending all this money for the great experience, it was absolutely terrible. The food of course was amazing, but the service was terrible. In my opinion, my comp should have been greater. BTW: When I got there, it really wasn’t that busy. Even folks that arrived after I got there, was served their food and their service appeared to be head and shoulders above to what I experience this night. Put a damper on the evening. Just disappointed this time. Hopefully, I will be reached out to so it can be made right.

I tried this restaurant because it’s only found in Ohio. The flavor of the food was average. Had to send the crab cake back. The drinks were good. Not laundry’s best restaurant. The Apple pie is not what you think. See images.

Upscale spot that could readily be a 5 for others. Steaks varied in quality within our group (some were great). Seafood toppings and appetizers were fresh and richly flavored. Sides were underwhelming, as were the $15+ mixed drinks. Neat art deco building, and a peacefully spread-out, quiet dining room.

We had reservations at 7:15 we were promptly seated. Our waitress came over didn’t introduce herself ask for our drink orders and if we were ready to order mind you we hadn’t been seated long enough to look at our menu. We ask if they were still participating in restaurant week so she got us a menu for that and came back within 2 minutes wanting to take our order. We ordered oysters as a starter; normally in an upscale restaurant they allow you to enjoy your appetizer before taking your dinner order. We felt pressured to order our food at the same time. We decided to try items off the special menu so our salad and bisque came back out before our oysters. We added Oscar style to our steaks. We still had bread left when she brought the oysters and took the bread. The steak was cooked right and the Oscar style was very good; however the steak was not good. My husband finished before me so she immediately took his plate I had half of my dinner still on my plate but was having conversation with my husband and showing him something on my phone when she approached the table and asked if she could box up my food or take it away. She just assumed I was finished. We still had drinks and felt more rushed than when at a Mexican restaurant. It was fine she took it because it was not a good steak, we have had better steaks from Costco to be honest. Not to mention the dead fly on our table when we sat down that my husband brushed on to the floor, I get it it’s that time of the year but staff should’ve noticed that before or while seating guest. She left our bill as we were still having dessert. $200 to be in and out in less than an hour is a little disappointing. As we were waiting for valet to bring our car she was leaving for the night which explains a lot, we must have been her last table. We have been to upscale r steakhouses in the area quite a bit and have never felt like this. All in all this is as very disappointing unsatisfactory experience

I’ve been trying to book a rehearsal dinner for a month now!!! It’s so maddening that nobody knows what they are doing!!! Talk to one lady first, thought I had it all taken care of then another lady took over and she doesn’t know what the last lady did!!!! Giving another menu to choose from I did all that with the previous lady!! This should not be that difficult!!! I am completely stressed out!! The dinner is suppose to be this Friday evening!! Please can someone from Mitchell’s help me!!

Went here recently to have a nice date night dinner. Ordered a cocktail. Did not receive it until after the bread and after dinner salads. Had requested wine with meal. That was also late. Server blamed new bartender. Ordered the salmon entree and the shrimp was left off. Server stated they thought I ordered the ‘other salmon’. I did not see another salmon entree. Went to restroom and there was no TP in stall. I was comped dessert and a Prosecco. However, the experience was less than stellar and VERY DISAPPOINTING. Of course the only response is see here is ‘hope to see you again’. Will not happen. Much too costly for that many issues.
