The last 4 times I’ve went there it has been bad! I got my food tonight and it was cold after I had waited 15 minutes because it wasn’t ready yet. Even though I had gotten there on time. Time before that I had a hair in my food, every thing was soggy and cold.

Years ago I had a negative experience with this restaurant. The staff were rude and the food was just okay. After revisiting Mitch’s, everything has improved. The food is typically great and the staff isn’t near as grouchy as before. My only gripe is that the phone is ALWAYS busy so you need to call in your order before the lunch rush.

I travelled from New York with my parents to Jena on family business. This so far has been the best place we’ve eaten thus far. I have 30 yrs in the F&B industry, and was extremely satisfied. Fast & friendly service, gold star for cleanliness, fair prices, the food was superb! We will be in Jena for at the very least a week, and we definitely will be back!
