First thing I wanna say is a big thank you to our server and to the restaurant for being accommodating to us although we were about 15 minutes late for our reservation.

We have been coming here for years. It is consistently good and authentic Japanese cuisine. The ambience is quiet and clean. The server is very attentive. Our favorite and a must is the wagyu hot pot. You must ask them for this option when they call you the day before to confirm. It’s $90 more but very worth it.

That was THE MOST AMAZING sushi takeout I HAVE EVER HAD. Already one of our favorite spots for sushi pre-SIP. It’s hard to do good takeout sushi, but this was up to the challenge x10. About as good as dining in person. The new menu items were fantastic. Sashimi was top quality (as always), and the fried rice was crazy good.

Not a large restaurant, good decor, this was a nice, quiet dining place with great services. We all had the $125 dinner set. Having visited Japan many time and lived in Tokyo for 3 months last year, I find myself comparing all Japanese restaurants outside of Japan to what I had in Japan. So, with that, I think the food was just a bit above average. For $125, the volume of food and type of ingredients included were acceptable. However, certain dishes were way too salty (such as the sukiyaki styled steak), certain dishes’ flavors were not satisfactory (such as the rock shrimp soup). The custard egg with black truffles and foie gras sounded interesting, but turned out not so tasty, too much in too little. The Alaskan King Crab was disappointing, the texture was mooshy, with very salty miso paste which would have covered up the sweetness of the crab meat. Anyway, it was unfortunate, because I was hoping for an outstanding meal!

Best Japanese restaurant weve found here! Very good service. Especially the urchin custard. Also good rolls/sashimi and the kids loved the shrimp fried rice.

Very small and intimate Japanese restaurant. The place has only 8 tables with 5 sushi bar seats that needs to be reserved. Tried the omakase and it was very good. Started with dash broth, light and yet flavorful. Variety of sashimi and nigiri were good quality. Creative with smoke hamachi, with a dome filled with smoke. My favorite was Toro ftom Japan, must have been slightly seared/torched, so good. All the rice was a little chewy but flavored. Finished with green tea tiramisu and chocolate truffle. I saw a lot of people trying out their seafood soup of some sort, which I want to go back to try as well as their different chef’s tasting kaiseki.
