One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to. Hopefully the locals can appreciate that. The owner is also the one who serves you and he’s really nice, fast and professional. The place is clean and orderly. Could be good for large groups too. Very nice interior decor too. Would highly recommend this place and hope to see it still here for years to come.

Amazing sushi! We tried the Shrimp Tempura, the Dynamite and the Covington Maki. All 3 were wonderful. We first stopped in the day after they opened and the wait time was an hour and 15 minutes however, they have now been open a week and my wait time was 15 minutes. You have to expect a long wait time with a brand new restaurant. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of the amazing sushi.

I’ve never ate there. But if I liked sushi I’d say it is the best in town!! Or the only one in town……it’s allways empty. Occasionally I see a 2nd car in the lot.. eating raw fish and chicken can’t be good for anyone at any age

Ordered “hibachi” entrees that we’re cooked on a large hot plate. No seasoning to food. Owner has a bed, nightstand behind a screen. No dine-in as shown in description. Strictly takeout. Health department should close this place.

The owner is not the most outgoing business owner I’ve ever met but he was running the place and preparing the food by himself so he didn’t have a lot of time for small talk.

The place filthy, pretty sure he lives there as there was a bed behind a divider. The food was rancid, food poisoning at a crazy price. Should of walked out, what was I thinking? Health department needs to close this place before illnesses are spread!!

He makes the beat sushi I’ve ever had and in such a small amount of time, he was really friendly and asked if we were fine every 5-10 minutes I HIGHLY recommend you try this place.

This place just opened yesterday and we went tonight to try it. Wonderful food. Reasonable prices too. Very nice sushi. Loads of fish in it. Not skimpy like some places I have been to where you are trying to find the fish within the roll. The owner did a wonderful job with the things he served. Will eventually be more dining style than now which is focusing on carry out but they do have a few tables. Staff and owner were very nice even though owner was very tired. Will definitely be returning. Very happy such a good sushi place has opened out this way. Usually have to go to Lexington or Roanoke until now for sushi
