Miyama is a great little restaurant tucked in a shopping center between a coffee shop and salon. My family loves everything from the appetizers (my kids like the Rock Shrimp and I like the dumplings) to the sushi, hibachi, and noodles. Would like to rate the food 4.5. Restaurant is clean, service is attentive and friendly, and their take-out is just as good.

Great place. I’m kicking myself for living in the area for several years and only trying it for the first time 6 months ago. Quick and friendly service whether you eat in or get takeaway. Very clean. Very reasonably priced. I’m not a sushi eater, so can’t comment on that, but the soup, salad, tonkatsu, gyoza, and tempura are delicious. I now order from here at least once a week!

It was an informal moment with my wife for lunch. She was less interested in sushi but had some chicken which she loved. Being an experimenter at heart, I ordered something predictable and something not quite so obvious. This place is both accessible and a wonderful gem. I loved this moment and felt transported to a faraway land while still being grounded in where we live.

Overall pretty good, worth the trip, the overall ratings are a start too high. The Yakitori was fresh, smart portion. The AAC roll was fresh and light, the Tempura Chicken roll was hot, crispy and tasty. The avocado salad was creamy and crisp. We would go back, hope it is just as good.
