I’m was disappointed with my takeout order and the food quality. The sukiyaki had zero beef and no mushrooms, which are typical ingredients for this dish. Also, the chicken karaage had too much chicken fat left. Chicken thighs are already juicy, so there is no need to leave the fat. The taste of everything was just okay.

The food was amazing. This place was super busy on a Saturday night, but they got us in within 30 minutes or so. Inside is smaller but with a larger patio outside. It’s really a nice atmosphere.

I was craving fried sushi. If you request for most of the rolls to be Golden, then they can fry it for you. Definitely satisfied my cravings that day. We came with friends and the soju bombs were nice and drinks and food were very generous in portions. Nice customer service during dinnertime. There is an outdoor patio and they also serve in doors. Thanks y’all!

I was pleasantly surprised and I can’t recommend this place enough. It is really hard to get a decent Japanese curry around here in Austin and Miyo knocked it out of the park with their Chicken Katsu Curry. The chicken was juicy with an incredibly crispy crust that paired so damn well with the thick curry. A must have appetizer I’ll highly recommend is the Takoyaki. It came with 4 takoyaki balls, perfectly fried with the cheesiest and creamiest interior I have ever tried. It was so good it rivaled some of the Takoyakis I have tried in SF Japantown – that says something. The generous sprinkling of bonito flakes took it to the next level. Lastly, the Sukiyaki was incredibly too – especially the hotpot soup base. They didn’t skimp on the texture, it isn’t watered down unlike other places. It was thick and a perfect balance of sweet and umami. The glass noodles were my favorites among other things.

A cool spot for some great sushi! Wish I knew about this place sooner, only found it last week. Today I had the Big Shot Roll and the Parmer Lane Roll! Both superb! Looking forward to going back. Friendly service is always a plus. I see they snagged a veteran sushi chef who had been at another spot in north Austin for quite some time. Smart move and likely explains why my meal was amazing delicious.

First time trying it and we were very pleased with our food. We arrived right when they opened so it wasn’t so crowded. The sushi tasted amazing and fresh! To us it was more Americanized sushi than actual sushi, but it’s still really good. Portions are big we actually had to take some home with us and the pricing is fair for the amount you get. The staff is so friendly! Definitely to come back!!

Great place for Japanese food. Portion sizes are pretty big. As a solo dinner the karage appetizer is a meal, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is excellent.
