I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to try Mizu, but I’m glad I did! They have a great selection of sushi and their entrees are really well prepared. I had a beef donuburi bowl with beef and it was a ton of food for the price, easily two meals. The sushi rolls were also great and came out really fast. Along with the mains, I ordered some Agedashi Dofu (fried tofu) and it was amazing! If you live downtown you need to pay them a visit!

Best sushi i’ve ever had. The man who made it for us was so welcoming and talked to us the whole time. We don’t know anything about sushi but he asked us what we like and recommended us the perfect thing, and made it for us fresh. Definitely coming back to town just for the sushi.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We were going to share a bowl of the chicken ramen and they even offered to split it into 2 different bowls for us. The sushi was so tasty and the spring rolls were fresh and delicious with the side of peanut sauce The ramen had a nice, spicy kick to it. It’s not like the traditional ramen you’d find in Japan, but it was yummy! Definitely would recommend this spot!

I want to point out that the water here is impeccable. Many restaurants have poor water. This water tastes purified. So fresh. I imagine The fountain of youth tastes just like this. Like.. I be looking for that taste in every restaurant. If the water is good, you know the food is gonna BUSSSS.

Came with a group for girl’s night out and the service was extremely slow. Although I’m fairly certain there was only one server. The food was okay. I ordered gyoza, California roll and spring rolls. The spring rolls were the best part of the meal. Very crispy and well made. The sweet dipping sauce was a perfect pairing. The dumplings were good as well. The sushi was okay. The imitation crab was not great. Not to mention one person at my table had hair in her food. A couple of orders were wrong. If you’re looking for a place with fast, dependable service, this is definitely not the place to go. And hopefully your dish doesn’t have hair ♀️

Arrived right at 5 as they opened. The server was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Recommend the Fusion Bowl with Bulgogi. Comes in a hot bowl that continues to cook the contents – including an egg – and spicy sauce on the side.

After craving sushi for several weeks we finally found time, Mizu is a popular restaurant in my FB group so we decided to give it a try. We beat the dinner rush by arriving around 7p on a Saturday, as you walk in you’ll see a beautifully designed bar with an equally unique dining room. Our server was fun, she cracked jokes and gave great recommendations. We ordered the Dragon Ball for an app and we weren’t disappointed, packed with flavor it’s a must try to start your meal. I got the Las Vegas Roll, and Caterpillar my significant other had the number 45. All put on one plate made for an intimate dinner with great food. If yourebij the mood for amazing Japanese cuisine stop in and have a great time.
