I was very happy at the Roseville branch. I’m happy with this one in Elk Grove as well. Sashimi plate was fresh and the slices are thicker than other Sushi places. I did not visit the restroom, so I have no comment. Place is clean with modern interior decoration. Our server was probably nervous and kept forgetting what we ordered. Love their hot tea, but I wish they leave the tea kettle on the table in order to save time for staff and customer doesn’t have to wait to get a refill.

We came for lunch on Sunday around noon. It was still early in the day so it wasn’t crowded. The restaurant is pretty spacious too. Nicely decorated. We order hot sake, two appetizers and two rolls to share. The rolls are 50% off. I’m not sure if this is grand opening promotion or marketing strategy to make you think you are getting a good deal?

My server, Andy, was awesome. He was funny and knowledgeable and personally checked to make sure that the tempure mix was vegan for me. The Vegan Roll was very good as well. Everywhere else was closed but this place stayed open until 10pm so we went here and I’m glad we did!

We ordered 4rolls to share for two of us. 3 of them are california roll size, one is little bigger than futomaki but short. Felt smaller than expected but, no complain their charge was 20% less than other sushi place. Tast was pritty good. kikko maki s onion fry was too oily and killed sushi tast. I would suggest use it less. Waitress was good but, when i punch in her tip she was stand by me and waited , that made me nervous.

Very expensive. I ordered a small sashimi $29. It came with rice and salad. Rice was undercooked and salad had a rotten piece. The salad dressing was the only thing that was tasty. 🙁

New place at Laguna. It’s nice and clean, and they open quite late which is good. Good service. Love their white dragon roll! However, for 18$ I think the bento box should have come with more variety such as miso soup or tempura roll which is pretty common with Japanese restaurants. And the rice was way too over cooked. Would recommend you guys come give it a shot tho.
