Went here after going to MFA. I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops with fried rice and it was alright. I thought the rice was a little crispy which was weird but it might have just been the style. I also tried the chicken gizzard skewers and they were pretty good.

I was expecting more based on the reviews, and we were pretty disappointed. We got the beef brisket curry bowl, and the noodle beef bowl, plus takoyaki and spring rolls. The curry bowl was like 85% rice, and the brisket was very heavy on the fat. The noodle bowl was similar – tons of noodles, and not much besides. Both were not great. For the price, I’d expect better. The banana milk tea was good, though.

What Happens
Delicious teryaki dishes freshly made with vegetable fried rice and yummy salad. We tried the chicken and shrimps and I asked for it to be cooked well done and extra spicy. The spring roll stuffing was little and with no flavor. The restaurant is small and clean and the staff was friendly.

Decent food with adequate portions. Wish they would include stir fried vegetables as a side with their entrees rather than cold, spicy salads. That said, the eel and salmon teriyaki were flavorful, and their fried rice and noodles were also pretty good. Scallion pancakes had a nice texture to it, but they served it with duck sauce instead of soy sauce. For the price, I also wish they provided larger portions.

Unassuming teriyaki place that never disappoints! Great portions, love the taste, and probably one of the best bang for the buck meals in Fenway. I usually do the chicken teriyaki or the salt and pepper chicken.
