I’ve been here 4 times now .. I keep giving another chance but tonight was the clincher for me . Never again. I ordered the shrimp tacos filled with slaw and no shrimp. (As I told the server this is embarrassing for them that they served this) Calamari for 16 dollars was so dry and overcooked you couldn’t even see the actual calamari. Service less than par had to constantly ask for our order of fries and just mass confusion and they weren’t busy . Was not worth one bite . I rarely leave feedback like this but after 4 tries I’m done . I was there two weeks ago at the bar to meet a couple friends and I really didn’t want to eat as I know their quality.. my friend ordered me the ahi tuna .. awful . I spent 100 dollars for 3 meals tonight no alcohol and it was terrible . You need to get a new chef and get it together.. delivering slop. As a restaurant owner myself I couldn’t help but share .. I gave 4 chances .

MJ’s in my opinion was less than mediocre regarding at least 6 visits to their other locations. So, I gave up. Regards the Long Branch location, right after it opened, my and I went twice and gave up. Not good. However, I recently returned for 4 separate visits within 2 weeks. Well, was I surprised! It was not serving the same mediocre food, but rather better than average meals. My only complaint is their prices seem a bit higher than local competitors. I know, inflation. I’ve taken this into account. It’s not something that would stop me from returning though. Seems to be the case with the large amount of customers normally there.

Great bar and food place now in Long Branch. Good place for a drink and delicious food. Everything I’ve had so far is delicious so you can’t go wrong. They have weekly events like karaoke night and live bands. Chill vibes.

Used to be the Sitting Duck.. MJs gutted the place and made it a somewhat sterile sports bar. I had the Chile which was quite good but came without chips or crackers that I had to ask for. The chicken wrap was good and was served with ‘homemade’ potato chips. Mmmm

First time at this restaurant. It didn’t knock my socks off but the food was good and the service friendly and expedient. We didn’t have to wait for a table. And it was reasonably (for 2022) priced. We split the kale and golden beet salad and a burger. The salad was awesome and the burger was your average bar burger. I think it’s a nice neighborhood bar and grill. Average.
