My wife and I went and tried this place out for the first time. We had heard good things about it and we were not disappointed. The kaluhah pork is to die for slow roasted for 10 hours, very tender and seasoned very well. The teriyaki steak also really good, and their chicken is so tasty. I had the macaroni salad as a side, and it is one of the best I’ve had not sweet like a deli Mac salad. This is the way it should be made. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain the cooking process for each dish. Definitely recommend.

Great all the way around. Good size portions. Pictured is the mini. Teriyaki chicken was slap city! The rest was very delicious as well but I really like the teriyaki chicken. Also the teriyaki sauce was A+. Staff was very nice. Tons of parking and a drive thru. Will definitely be eating here again.

Normally when I come here the food is fresh and taste amazing! Today however, went through the drive thru and ordered a MINI, got the teriyaki chicken and katsu and I live literally 3 min from the restaurant, Iv drove home plenty of times and my food was HOT! However my food was “Cold” like it had just been warmed and sitting under their light, I do know they make their shrimp fresh to order, but I’m very disappointed! I did however call and spoke with a girl “manager!” She was over the top EMPLOYEE, an assured me she would make things right, over all I’m satisfied. I understand mistakes can happen.

Our 1st visit. My husband and I both ordered the mini lunch plate (come with shredded raw cabbage, white or brown rice, macaroni salad, if we want them). For 2 meats, I chose terayaki chicken and shrimp tempura while Mike chose Kailua pig and shrimp tempura. The meat were tasty. Good location. Friendly servers. However, it would be nice if I was asked how much I wanted of the brown rice. I was given 2 scoops of brown rice just because I didn’t want the macaroni salad. Would be nice if there were cooked vegetables dishes to choose from.

This is the BEST chicken teriyaki and kalua pig! I lived in HI for 3 years and this is the best match for Hawaiian food. The plate lunches have so much food it can last for 2-3 meals for some. The prices are very reasonable and their C/S is A+! Our orders have always been right on but yesterday when we got home we found our order was not completely fulfilled. So I called and talked to Josh the manager and he made it right- plus some for inconvenience. God bless your business and may it be a prosperous 2023!

Had the privilege of being able to try their food the day before they officially opened. They where giving away free food so people could try the food and meet the two brothers who started it all. I learned that it’s not just the two brothers, but their family also attends these events and both families have been involved since the inception of the first restaurant where both families worked to build this dream. One of the owners informed me that all the employees are family also just like back in Hawaii and they just wanted to share that feeling and food with others. All the employees I met where incredibly nice and the food was amazing. They gave out a tray of teriyaki chicken, shredded pork, white rice and macaroni salad. They also where handing out cookies and free soda. It reminded me of a family picnic. If you would like some good food with a nice atmosphere you need to try this place.

Their food is really good Hawaiian, but the service was quite slow; my coworker and I stood in line for some time while all the mobile and door dash orders were processed. I’m guessing either it was a bit under-staffed or they were just in training.

Got there was placing our orders they said it would be 20 minutes because they were out of teriyaki chicken. We told them we would wait the girl said are you sure you wanna wait 20 minutes? We said yes not a problem. Then everybody was getting their food that came in after us I went up there and asked about it. They had the chicken they just needed to put it in the container for us waited waited waited at the counter. They were filling peoples orders that was still in line behind us. Finally the girls said all I’m waiting on is for them to cut the steak. I’ll bring it right to you. 15 minutes later I go up she said oh my gosh I forgot all about that. That’s a second time they had forgot the order. I’ll bring it right out to you. I said no I’ll wait. There was a manager named Stormie Who spoke up and said it’s OK I said no it’s not OK. We’ve been waiting not once but twice that they forgot our order so she proceeded to say well it’s people ““ like you that won’t work in a place like this “not sure what she meant people like me very I’m offended by a manager speaking that way on her way out she walked by our table and said I hope you guys enjoy that steak and choke on it. I definitely. hope she knows it’s people “like me “that’s in there, eating dinner that’s paying the wages for the ones that are forgetting to get the food to the customers. Not just once but twice. The girls working were dressed inappropriately with extremely short shorts on. No real customer service. Plus tables needed to be cleaned off so people could dine in. When I told Stormie I would contact corporate office she said go ahead I don’t care. Managers not caring is how business close eventually.

Great food! Can’t brag enough! Friendly employees. They get so they do have a wait on chicken and steak sometimes. It is worth it though for fresh hot food! They always offer a free drink if you have to wait to pick up an order.

Definitely an interesting atmosphere. Their pork was pretty good but I absolutely loved their chicken! If you’re looking to try something new and add something different to your normal routine of cuisine, I would try this place. I only got to try their teriyaki chicken and their chicken kasu, along with their pork. I’m definitely going back to try a few other things.
