I’m glad we tried this place for dinner. Best baked and fried chicken in the area. Don’t know how we missed this gem of place. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sides of rice, pigeon beans, pinto beans and okra were equally delicious as chicken. The owner of this place is courteous and friendly. She definitely knows her work. My money would be going to support business of my own people. Definitely my to go place and recommended place as well

Ordered the smothered chicken, seasoned rice with gravy, black eyed peas, cornbread and sweet potato pie. The food was not good at not sure what how they made the sweet potato pie couldn’t have been with real potatoes. It was kind of jelly like. The food was sloppy and nasty. There were no onions or bell peppers or anything. No vegetables at all in the Black Eyed Peas the chicken, and the skin was just nasty and it wasn’t seasoned well at all I would not order here again. I flip the pie so you can see the crust like this I don’t know what this is. I’m annoyed cause I was really hungry and tried something new. $45 spent and wasted.

Lima beans dry, macaroni and cheese fry and hard like it’s been sitting for hours and neither of them had any flavor. The chicken was fresh. The cornbread was sweet like jiffy. Peach cobbler taste like it was made with no sugar added peaches and was horrible. First time here at the Stonecrest Mall location.

This was my first time eating here and the food was really good. I got the two piece whiting dinner and it came with two sides, I got Mac n green beans + sweet potatoes and I tried the potato salad. The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the Mac n cheese was dry and needed more seasoning, the green beans were delicious, sweet potatoes were also on-point. The potato salad was a bit too sweet for me, but still good. I’d definitely go back here. Oh and the staff were very nice.

It left me unfulfilled, everything was below my expectations. Nothing I would be like man that food was good I gotta go back. The Mac and cheese tasted like they cut every corner to save money. Like the noodles was just yellow and seasoned. I got one large chunk of a yam. They didn’t even take the time to cut the yams up. I’m sure I’ll never go back

The first time I went food was good and on point. I had a 2 piece spicy snack with roll and a slice of lemon cake. Their lemon cake is SO GOOD, if you like the one from Starbucks this is BETTER !!! The second time I went The food was not fresh and roll was hard as a rock, I also went 30 mins before closing so maybe that’s why. I went A third time and no issues. Customer service was good all three times I went. I would definitely recommend.

Ok so I went in here today on the one off flat shoals and although I waited in line without ordering I’m simply complimenting the customer service from the manager. I was referred here by someone who said they have good bbQ chicken so I called ahead but did not get anyone on the phone. When I arrived at the location there was a line surprisingly long so I figured the food must taste good. When I got to the counter and asked about his menu and the BBQ chicken he did advise me he cooked that yesterday but not today and they are working on getting the menus reprinted due to a third party error. He did apologize and was very humble about it. I came here to see the reviews regarding the food and I just thought I’d chime in. I will be back another time to try the food. This is a black owned business and we have to give our people grace sometimes.

The food was good and fresh. The mac and cheese was runnier than what I am accustomed to. The man who was serving us was a bit high strung. He was yelling at one of the seniors in line. He should guage his pressure. It was not cool.
