11-28-22 about 2:25pm: Inside still closed to dine in but able to come in and order. Wanted to try something not back home and had good reviews. I tried the shrimp and fish combo along with cheesesticks. Lady at the counter was helpful as I’ve never been here, being from Dallas and here for work.

It was busy. I ordered a kids meal. I discovered after pulling off that the Food wasn’t fresh. The fish was flavorless and overcooked, fries were old and unseasoned, they gave me no ketchup, hush puppy was hard and flavorless, the sprite was good.

I have a lot of nostalgia about this place. Grew up eating their fish sandwiches. Moved to Florida 16 years ago and still crave them. Had to have one before I left Louisville when I was passing through. Fries are better than they used to be but the fish is still yummy.

Love their fish sandwiches. I hit this one up when I fly into SDF… 5-10 minute drive from the airport. Old store, not the cleanest feel and not in a great neighborhood, but I get it to-go and the staff is always friendly.

Not fancy, but it was certainly very good! The staff was friendly and help steer me to the right menu items for a first timer. Looking forward to indulging in some great fried fish next time I am pass through town. And, oddly enough, the fried green tomatoes were outstanding!

Local family owned family spot. Several around metro Louisville. The food is good, depending on the location. Each location is owned independently by a family member. Most look like a time warp from the 1970’s and 60’s as most of the decor has not been updated since then or the early 80’s.

close way to early and if you come in 20-30min before closing and they dint have something ready then they are not going to fix more. Patio is filthy but food is tasty and quick. Tge kids working up front are great but the woman on grill. She a entirely own topic that needs rated…. lol
