Went there for office lunch, waiter was super nice and service was quick (at least for my table). I ordered and food came super quick and tasty, the skirt steak was tender and flavorful, only complaint is that it’s pretty thin, wish it is a little bigger. The free salsa and cheese dip for the chips was super good too.

It was buzy, 20 minute wait for the restaurant. The bar had many areas to sit. That’s what we chose. The salsa was very tasty, spicy with lots of cilantro, yum! We also asked for a side of beans. I decided on the Combination, had a beef taco, and 2 chicken enchiladas. I absolutely loved the delicious enchiladas. Their sauce is the best I have had in a long time! not so crazy for the taco. My daughter ordered green chicken enchiladas. I came with 3. Very delicious. We definitely had leftovers. Our waitress was so friendly and nice. It was busy, but I never had to ask for more water or chips. Awesome job!

My husband and I came to eat here on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy and bustling, and we were able to get a seat with no wait time. My pineapple mojito was delicious and we loved the table side queso that they lit on fire and served with tortillas. I ordered the chicken tacos, and fellow spice weenies beware because they were HOT. The pinto beans and rice were full of flavor. My husband loved his pork carnitas plate. The food was delicious with generous portions, the service was quick (shout out to Manuel and Omar for great service) and the ambiance was upscale. We found our Mexican restaurant here in Tacoma!!! Atmosphere is warm and inviting. My husband and I sat at the bar and they have outdoor seating as well. Our bartenders were Alex & Monica (Mon-eek-ka) and they are amazing! Incredible service with a smile. I had the Gran Acapulco Margarita and it was refreshing. My Husband enjoyed his Jalapeño Margarita as well. We both ordered the Carne Asada tacos….best I have had so far. I highly recommend this place!

Had an absolutely delicious dinner here with my family. Started with the complimentary chips and salsa (they have the best salsa). We also ordered the Queso Flameado to start, if you’ve never been I would definitely recommend that. To drink I had the raspberry lemonade which had the perfect amount of tartness. For our mains we got the Birria Tacos, El Molcajete (steak, shrimp, and chicken), and the combination platter. The Birria Tacos and El Molcajete are both family favorites. The Taquito and Taco Dorado on the combination platter are always so crispy. To finish off dinner we had the Flan which was okay and the Mexican Brownie. This was our first time trying the Mexican Brownie and it was so rich and tasty. Moctezuma’s has been one of our favorite restaurants for years!

Great restaurant, clearly popular. Ww came because a friend said the wrapped jalapenos here are bomb, and he was correct- they are delicious. They’re also a little spicier than normal, which I prefer, but if you don’t, maybe be cautious. Not crazy hot, definitely have some spice.

Listen I was just here for the margarita flight costed $18 and I was not disappointed. The mango Chamoy was my absolute favorite. Service was ok . Wait for margarita meh . And if you’re wondering the margarita altogether is ok to still drive my vision wasn’t blurred unless you’re a light drinker just please don’t . Chips and salsa is complementary when you sit down . Mango was delicious again .

Moctezuma is usually one of my favorite places to eat, but as of lately the care for details for pick up orders is seriously lacking. When I do order out it’s usually for company events at the hospital I work for. So I’m expecting the same attention to detail that I receive when I dine in. Yesterday I order the steak fajitas platter. I get a call and email that my 10pm request for pick up is too late. Even though that was a time option available on the website. I call at 9 tell them I’ll be there at 9:30 to pick up. I get there at 9:15 for my food not to be ready until 10pm like I had requested. I’m a little stressed and irritated at that point but let it go I say thank you and take my food to the event. To set up the food at work to realize it’s chicken not steak. Not that they could even do anything about it but I sent a email to L. Perez explaining the situation. Expecting a phone call the next day did not receive one. Had to call and be left on hold for 10 minutes to speak to a manager. I spoke with L. Perez for her not to offer anything, but an apology for wasted time and not receiving what I ordered. I asked what can we do to rectify this expecting her to offer my corrected order but offer 50 percent of my bill that I’ll get in 2 to 3 business days. Not happy at all with the service. And won’t uses them anymore for company events.

Ok. First time here. Been wanting to try this place for a minute. So glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and super flavorful. The salsa was to die for. I had the molcajete and OMG it was phenomenal. The drinks were awesome too.

I’m not one to typically rate low but I’ve gotta say although the food was really good, the service was lacking, the server never came by on his own to see how we were doing or if we needed anything it was always us having to waive someone down and that was a little disappointing. I watched our server over catering to the tables that had more then a party of 2 Other then the lack of service the food was really good and the place was clean.
