I planned a date night themed around creativity. So we started at the kalamzoo candle company where you use your creativity to make your own personalized smelly candles. It’s an hr for candles to cool so we went to MOD pizza because at MOD you can use your creativity to build the perfect wood fire pizza. Food was done so fast. The pizza was delicious the place was clean and had great music playing. The staff were great.

According to my family, “they have the good ice here” and I must agree. Come in for pizza but get that fountain drink so you can have the good ice! I built my own pizza on the cauliflower crust and when you don’t charge extra for each topping, you win the day! I was very happy with my visit here and enjoyed the atmosphere!

I really like MOD pizza; however, the last 3 times I visited the restaurant, the area where the pizzas are being build was totally filthy. There was cheese, and meats, and vegetables all mixed together that was a turnoff. I told the manager and he quickly told the employees to clean it up. Sad thing is…, the employees did not recognize the unappetizing presentation; one even had the audacity to ask me “what’s wrong”? This is very Sad!!

I got a coupon on for this place and gave it a shot. When I walked in I thought it was another blaze. I was surprised they had actual menus and lot more fresh ingredients. The staff was super friendly and they welcomed us. They helped us in ordering. Then we got our pizza. The food was great. I liked them. They also sell beer. They have beer on tap as well. They have $2 craft beer tuesdays. I would have given this place 5 stars. But when i picked up a place it was greasy and so was next few plates. I hope they correct it.

when we ordered we asked for half of one pizza and half of a different pizza. they didn’t hear us or whatever and made it wrong, no big deal..we didn’t throw a fit. they offered to make us a new one free of charge. i accepted and apologized profusely. everything tasted good until the next day when we discovered it had given us food poisoning. not sure what exactly the issue was, but it was definitely that free pizza they gave us that caused this.

The pizza was excellent (I chose the toppings) the servers were friendly and the store was very clean. Drink machines were clean and worked well with good mixture in the tea and lemonade. I will return to MOD pizza.
