This was my first time eating here and it was really good. I had read bad reviews about this location but I didn’t have any problem with the quality of the food or the service and I even went during the busy lunch time. I got two build your own pizzas. I love how you can put all the toppings you want for the same price. We also did a half and half pizza without any problem. The toppings were very high quality, and the sauce and dough were good. Also liked that you could see them cooking in the big brick pizza oven. Only took about 10 minutes to cook. Would definitely go back.

We’ve given this location several opportunities to try and improve as we love MOD Pizza, but it just hasn’t happened. We typically get 4-5 different pizzas each visit. On average 3-4 are incorrect. Most of the pizzas have minimal cheese and almost always forget the sauces. The picture with the pesto was supposed to have balsamic glaze and ranch swirled on it. We ordered mozzarella and parmesan cheese, but there is hardly any cheese on either of the pizzas. The second pizza was supposed to have sausage, but instead got sliced tomatoes and no sausage? It also is missing the hot honey and ranch drizzle. Tonight they must have had a few attendance issues with the team as it took 20 minutes after showing up for the curbside delivery. No one came out after our initial call, so I went inside to grab them. While I was inside there were a few upset customers due to some messed up orders. I should have checked before I left!

This place usually has stellar service and pizza but not today. I made an online order on the app. They tried to give me someone else’s pizza when I got there. Then she told me 5 minutes. 10 minutes later they had 1 of the 2 pizzas I ordered. She apologized and said they would make the second one. Then I watched 2 dudes walk back in the store from outside with their pizzas, one of them said something to the guy behind the counter, he swapped pizzas with the customer, then the employee walked over and told me that was my other pizza and if I wanted it, after some other customer had taken it out to his car then brought it back in……. Seriously?? When I ordered here last week my pizza was completely drenched in balsamic glaze which I requested on the side. Are these even full sized??

No one in line on a Friday night. Super fast took 27 minutes. After another 10 minutes food arrived. Then got the wrong pizza. They gave mine to another customer. The woods cross one was good Clearfield on antelope was a terrible experience. Can’t say i would return

The pizza was poorly put together, cooked, and served. It took me talking to 2 of the servers before they could offer to remake me a better pizza product. Am not happy with the overall experience and will not recommend the establishment to others. There is a great deal of room for improvement. Please take this as feedback to improve your service to future patrons.

Previous review: We love this place. Definitely recommend. All the toppings you want and the price stays the same. It’s clean, friendly, and OMG so fast. Check it out. We’re here all the time. And use the app for freebies. // OK UPDATE: That was our old review about mod. Well here’s our new one May 13th. We will probably not return. This experience was so terrible, I highly encourage anyone interested in going to this location to second guess it. Bottom line the employees said the manager quit on them, just walked out. We still thought we could eat good food considering they’ve already been trained to prep and cook properly. Well it was so far from the truth. They were out of a hand full of ingredients, the place was filthy, everywhere. The staff was so disheveled and stressed it was obvious something was seriously going on. We didn’t hear the lack of management part until our food was handed to us. When we got home to eat after a long day of work we had a clump of hair in the layers of pizza. Lost my appetite and $42. They need help immediately. This place for us was our go to pizza spot.

Love Mod Pizza! The creations are almost endless! The BBQ Chicken is my favorite! We ordered that and the meats lover one (pepperoni and Italian sausage) so good! The only down side with the Layton location is one of the employees is rude as hell! Everyone else is very nice but he has no customer service so it’s kind of a shame!

This location literally used to be my wife and I’s favorite place to go eat. The staff was great, made excellent and organized pizza, it was well maintained, and they were never out of anything. Over the last few months, I’m not sure if management changed, or what, but it’s seriously gone downhill. All of the staff except 2 of them are so incredibly short and rude whenever anything is asked regarding adding more or less toppings, getting stuff from the back, or literally anything above them standing their doing the bare minimum. My wife hasn’t even gotten the things she likes on her pizza because no matter what time of day we come in, nothing is stocked or they just tell us they are out. I don’t normally complain as I’ve worked in fast food, but this has happened the last 4 times we’ve gone in. I really hope they do their best to try and change how they handle customers and the hygienic condition of the restaurant. This time there were at least 6 people in line. Two workers were there yet one was being forced to help customers alone while the other worker hid in the back and left him alone even though he was obviously new. I’m tired of coming here and being 100% disappointed. I may start driving 2 cities away just so I don’t have to deal with the B.S.

We love Mod pizza…but…the Layton location is noticeably sub-par. We eat at the the Riverdale location almost every time we go there but live in Layton so we eat there alot too. At Riverdale they are happy to accommodate special requests and preferences but Layton you have to stand your ground yo get what you want. Example: Riverdale let’s us order sauce, cheese and topings to the edge (no edge crust) but in Layton they always say “we can’t because we have to grab the edge to get in the oven”. Riverdale staff are quick and efficient…Layton is noticeably slow. Today Layton didn’t take time to put cap on balsamic container for drizzling on pizza…instead poured from open bottle so heavy on edges and almost none on rest. Asked for Asiago cheese after cooking…”we put that on before cooking”…so it’s a bother that I ask for it after? If you can make the drive to Riverdale location…do it.

If you ever complain about never having a thin enough crust, then come here. This place when you walk in has a really nice atmosphere and the people are just nice, although the people never told us where we were supposed to order which is fine, but it was a 12 dollar price for a 11′ inch pizza. And the wait isn’t bad. When the pizza finally arrived it leaves with a feeling of satisfaction and hunger, but the end taste is quite disappointing. The pizza was extremely thin (there was no thin crust option and this was the normal option), and the pizza was so bizarrely cut. But good thing I was really hungry because the taste was alright, nothing special. In all seriousness, I can’t see myself coming back here, there is just so many quicker and better options.
