Love, love mod but- I visited today and am quite dissatisfied. On shift, there were about 5 employees with really long hair. The long haired employees did not have their hair up or in a hair net. The employees were also shouting order names over pizzas which is also a health concern. Disappointed in the lack of sanitation protocol and was worried the entire time that I would have hair on my pizza.

I love pizza and I usually love these counter-serve pizza chains. I did not enjoy MOD pizza, however. The staff is made up of all high schoolers who obviously don’t care about the quality of your pizza. They were all talking amongst themselves having a good time behind the counter – which would be fine, but they didn’t seem to be paying attention to our order or how they were making our pizza. Look at the pictures attached. The cheese is basically all in the middle and the toppings clumped sporadically. My wife got the deep dish crust on her pizza, and it was burnt on the bottom and raw in the middle. If you’re going to offer a thicker crust, you should at least be able to cook it well. This may be due to the fact that the oven they are cooked in is manned by a high school student, instead of being on a timer. Overall: I like the idea, disliked the execution.

We went during their soft opening. Even though there was a line, our pizza was done in about 15 min or less. Everyone was super friendly and the walk through method of pizza making makes it so easy to get exactly what you want on your pizza. I love that they don’t charge extra for toppings, so don’t be afraid to load up!!! Our pizza was super tasty. Maybe could have used more sauce in my opinion, but we’ll definitely be back!

Very nice/hip build your own personal pizza restaurant. Their goal is to have your pizza ready in 8 minutes – which is really fast! They’re also open later than other restaurants around them which is a huge plus! It’s especially fun to completely turn it over to one of the workers and ask one of the them to make you their favorite pizza. They have a ton of toppings to choose from including seasonal ingredients and sauces such as presto that you can add after your pizza is cooked. The restaurant has been clean every time I go and the staff very friendly. My only complaint is that the music is sometimes a bit too long.

Regular crust is very very thin. Almost wafer-like. Perhaps upgrading to the double crust makes it a normal pizza. Also picking your toppings probably gets you more than the amount they put on the standard Mod classics. Left hungry still after a whole pizza. Quick and accurate service though and clean lobby. Good unique drink options, the blackberry lemonade is fire.

I usually go to the South Jordan location, and I wish I had this time as well! This location was a mess, their ingredient containers had all sorts of things spilled into each other and cross contaminated. The pizza came out looking like maybe it folded in half at one point? All the topping had shifted way over to one side. If the South Jordan location isn’t too far for you, go to that one instead. I’ve never had a bad experience over there.
