I love this place! Build your own pizza!! We do the Mod pizza with spicy marinara. Extra marinara! Then almost all the toppings they offer. Then we split it and it’s plenty for both of us! The staff is friendly and helpful the food is good and the drinks are good as well.

Love this place! You need to remind some of the pizza makers to spread ingredients across entire pizza, and repeatedly ask for more of what you want, but overall, it’s a great experience. It’s whatever you want to make of it. And the rewards program is a nice kicker!

Grateful they offer non-dairy cheese, wish they purchased cheddar. Best pizza, califlower crust, you choose the toppings. Delicious

Lloyd was such a kind handsome gentleman. Never seen customer service quite like his. My only complaint was for some of those other employees, the employee on oven and the one that was cutting pizzas were talking about 18+ images in graphic detail.

MOD on Recker & the 202 is always a pleasure to walk into. The staff is always in a good mood and seem to enjoy their jobs. The pizza is always delightful! We have been ordering cauliflower crust and it is so good! It’s just as good, if not better than their normal crust and has a perfect crispness to it! They also have my favorite caramelized pear iced tea and their ice rocks!

I want to love MOD Pizza, but their quality is all over the place. Their cauliflower crust is legitimately awesome, but they often burn it. I think they have some of the best toppings, but they often put them all in just the center of the pizza. Today, I ordered a Jasper without any red sauce plus olives and mushrooms. It’s on the sheet correctly, but they made me a naked Jasper. Sadly, this is a regular problem. When they take the time to get your order right, push the cheese and toppings to the edge of the pizza, and take it out of the oven in time, MOD Pizza really is my favorite place to grab pizza with/for the family though. So, I will probably keep going and rolling the dice to see if I can get lucky and get a well made pizza.

Mod pizza is one of the up and coming trends of the personal artisan pizzas. The location is in the new sprouts plaza just south of the North 202 on Recker, making this establishment brand new. The interior is along the line of the industrial look somewhere along the chipotle look. But the main star player here is the big oven in the back, where all the magic happens. Now do be mindful there is a wall filled with recipes but ultimately what goes onto your pie is up to you from a huge selection of toppings and combos. What it comes down to is, “is the place any good?” After sampling a plethora of goods, and the conclusion is yes. I was pretty well please with the DOMINIC was actually a pleasant surprise with a white pizza. The meat lovers was great as well along with the supreme but the a little too busy for that flat bread but that was my fault. I also ordered a shake and as far as shake standards go, it was standard and really… it’s pretty hard to mess up that. The surprise though, was the MOD version of the the ding dong, which turned out to be pretty delicious. From there its all pretty standard except the place sports its own refreshing lemonade and blackberry lemonade along with the coke products (save for the Mr.Pibb if you’re an animal) and the tea accompanied by its own interesting tea flavor that I did not try. So if you’re in the place I say go for it, a pizza will run you about 8 bucks and a drink is about 3 so a lunch would run you altogether about 11 bones so not too bad of a drop in the hole. Also one last thought, they do also provide salad options, smaller portion, and a vegan option as well if that is your cup of your tea.

We used to go here weekly and loved it, but their newer staff is so slow and talk to each other more than they work. Always a long line of people waiting for food and they are in no rush at all.

Love the build your own, and I’ve had many great mod pizzas before, but there is a 75% chance they burn your gluten free pizza. They burned one, offered to remake it, and burned the second one. Now I just feel silly going back for a 3rd pizza. Plus I don’t want to have my family wait for their pizza at home while another gets remaid, again. Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.

The selection of our usual gluten-free crust with pesto, veggies, non dairy cheese, etc was quite bland. Visiting from out of town. Our home Mod has always been delicious.
