I actually love modern market and have ordered from multiple locations and never had an issue. This location though… when I told her I called in an order she just looked at me like I made a mistake and asked if I was sure. I had to show her my confirmation email before she started making the order I already paid to have ready when I arrived. The food was not fresh which is something I’ve NEVER experienced from modern market so figured I had to share my experience so this location can get their act together.

Absolutely the WORST modern market location I have ever eaten at. Staff was rude and short with us. We ordered dishes we have had at modern market before and were remarkably disappointed. Braised beef came with no gravy and VERY little beef. Buddha bowl tofu looked like it was weeks old, very dry, and the veggies were still frozen. Love modern market normally but will NEVER eat at this location again.

They couldn’t provide a list of ingredients for the dressings, but luckily the person who made them was there. If you have severe allergies though, I wouldn’t come here. Place was a bit grubby, and I got dirty silverware with my meal, but the stars are for the food being pretty decent.

I waiting for 15 mins for my order and saw that several people who came after me where already served. I came back to the front and realized the server never gave me a meal pager. I asked her for one and she said she couldn’t find my order. She went back to the kitchen and nothing was to be found. She then told me I had to pay again because my order wasn’t in the system and that maybe the register didn’t work and that it wasn’t charged. I challenged her back and checked my bank statement to prove that I had been charged including the tip I left. She then went to the back and served it herself. Unfortunately the food was cold, & the rice was undercooked and hard so the whole experience was very upsetting.

This is a quick serve restaurant where they want a full tip for half the service. The food was good, but the hot food wasn’t hot. I had the braised beef meal, which came with mashed potatoes and a kale salad. All in all, a good experience.

We ordered dinner through the mod market website. The food was cold by the time it arrived which usually isn’t the case. One of the protein bowls was delivered without the chicken and with hardly any vegetables (photo attached from before my daughter ate any). The broccoli in the roasted veggies was raw and crunchy, and the mashed sweet potatoes had way more skin in them than usual with little black roots that should have been removed. The two pork bowls were dried out and had raw onions instead of pickled onions. Really disappointing experience tonight.
