We decided to try the new location and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was great. We ordered the fried and woodfired oysters for appetizers and they were delicious. The Lobster Louie salad was served in a generous portion and very tasty! As a side dish, I highly recommend the lobster Mac & cheese!

Modern Oyster Bar Chophouse is very good! I came here with a party of seven and we were all pleased. Their oysters are fresh along with the selection of meats. The portions are HUGE so make sure you come with an empty stomach. There was also live music that added to the ambiance. Prices are rather pricey but worth it.

Dont miss out on this GEM with amazing food and service. Its rarely too busy to get in and the food is top notch. Love the shrimp with pasta and veggies, but I swop the shrimp for blackened chicken. Save some bread for that sauce…OMG!

Love, love, love this place. Ate here because I was staying in a hotel nearby for business. Ate at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. Drinks tasty. Scallops perfectly cooked. Accommodated my gluten allergy. Nice atmosphere and playlist. Will definitely return the next time I am in town.

Top notch everything! We dined at the bar during our visit. Service was phenomenal and all of our food was delicious and served piping hot. Just the way we like it. Sorry to report that we didn’t take any photos of our food or drinks. We’ll have to make a point to do that next time we visit. We loved it!

Checked this place out for date night with my wife. The service, ambience, and taste of the food was amazing! We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation and got seated right away. Bread is provided with an herb butter, huge plus if you love bread. Appetizers and oysters came out extremely fast, and the pacing between our entrees was excellent. The crab cakes and Mac & cheese are arguably some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant. For the entrees, I got the scallops and my wife got the ahi tuna salad (she loved it). The portion was a little small for the scallops, but that was fine with me because I was full from the apps and bread. We had to take some of our food to go, and someone kindly boxed it for us. Did I mention four different people came to check on us? I would rather have too many check ins at a restaurant, than little to none. Great service, my wife and I will definitely be coming back!

Celebrated my husbands birthday. It was the prefect location. We learned it had only been open for five days and they were running like a well oiled machine. The live music was fantastic and unexpected. Made for a great experience. The food was delicious and the oysters were fresh. Highly recommended

Went here for our anniversary dinner. It was absolutely amazing, some of the best food we’ve ever had. The fried oysters were exceptional. I ordered the seared ahi tuna, and my husband had the maple chicken. The corn side dish that accompanied the chicken was really amazing. A+ service and food. Thanks for a special evening filled with lots of memories!
