Great service, amazing food and couldn’t believe how fast our food came to our table! Great price too! And love the 50s theme!

According to other reviews this does seem to be a hit or miss place. Our orders seem to have been made one at a time and left on a counter. This meant most of the food was cold by the time it got to us. Pizza burger tasted like it just had tomato paste put on it with no seasoning. Place looks nice but the food wasn’t the best. I don’t think it’s worth the risk to go back looking for the good experience other reviewers had.

Super rude waitstaff, but it’s neat environment. The food was 1 out of 5 stars as well.

Good food and reasonable prices. The waitress was very rude however. We came in during the lunch rush so we’re excpecting a wait. There were only 3-4 tables seated and she told us it would be about 30 minutes for food. We we’re fine with it so we sat down. Drinks came out right away and we had our food within 20 minutes so no big deal. The same waitress was extremely rude to the people that came in after us, telling them “I cleaned off a table for you a while ago, you could have sat down you know” when she didn’t even show them to a table. Then another couple came in (mixed race, not that it matters) and she said “Look, I just need to know if you are going to stay or not”. They stood around for a bit waiting for someone to seat them, when they weren’t helped, they left. Totally understandable. That waitress complained they we’re wasting her time. Overall good food, but the service to others makes me think I won’t be back.

Stopped for breakfast and right next to where we parked was a car from Texas with two dogs in it and the windows shut in the middle of summer. The staff was very kind when I voiced my concerns, and assisted in locating the owners, who assured the AC was on despite the engine of their Prius being deceptively quiet. Ordered pancakes and eggs, which were standard quality for dinner fare–simple but good. One of the pancakes wasn’t as ‘pretty’ as the other, and the waitress brought out another unasked saying the com wasn’t proud of it. The milkshake was superb! After the first sip of the one we had ordered to share, we had to get another so we could each have our own. Overall, friendly, clean, attentive. Definitely an excellent road trip stop off. Also our server did an excellent job on her cats eyeliner.

I stopped here in Jan 2016, on way to Chicago from Minneapolis, enjoyed a delicious meatloaf, and unexpectedly made a stop today on same itinerary and had a chicken appetizer. Both times the food was awesome.. Had to write the review, the waitresses were very courteous.. will make this a targeted stop in the future..

Good food served by a very rude young waitress. We entered and were told to wait to be seated and then that it least a15-20 minute wait, even though place was only about 1/3 full. It was clear she didn’t want to wait on us.

Really amazing retro diner. Not properly staffed. Turned multiple customer service away telling how long the wait was (only 4 tickets in the window and the not full, 1 waitress, 1 hostess, 2 cooks during lunch rush on a Sunday). The server was in the weeds, working really hard, while the hostess was lolly gagging around and was minimally helpful. Definitely need to drop the hostess and have servers seat their own tables instead, or hire more people.

Don’t let that disgruntled chicken outside fool you – this place always provides great eats every time we drive through the area! Decked out as a 50’s diner and located just off I-94 Exit 88, there’s ample parking, prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect. If you rate a diner by how good their fries are, you’ll be happy here.

Stopped by for lunch…service friendly but very very slow with no check backs other than to drop off check…no refill on coffee…got appetizer and meal at one after a 25 minute wait after ordering with only 4 other tables in the diner. Food was generic at best..cheese sauce served with appetizer served in a soup cup was clearly watered down and had no flavor and barely stuck to the pretzel. Sandwiches came with fries which were honestly the lone highlight…a literal teaspoon of coleslaw came with sandwich…so basically why bother putting it in basket. When leaving heard kitchen hollering at server. The concept is cute, but the execution was generic at best…won’t be making this a stop on business trips to the cities.
