Nom nom nom. Triple wide platter with Turkey, black eyed peas, cornbread, rolls, Mac and cheese, and banana pudding. It came with a large container of bbq sauce which is sooo good. These boys from Alabama really know their stuff. Yum

The food was lacking and a little dry, but the awesome dog was super cute with his crooked teeth. The staff were also super nice. I felt like I was at home with my pup eating my scraps. Great atmosphere, even had live music. I think the pup pushed the experience over the top for me lol.

We live in summit, and there’s no good bbq there unfortunately. Whenever we’re in Leadville we make sure to come here. The foods great, people are cool and the whole atmosphere is rad. It’s a perfect stop to grab food after a day of hiking or being outdoors. Plus, super dog friendly 🙂

Moe’s turned an empty corner on the East side of Leadville into a delicious barbecue joint. Ribs, pulled pork, and rotating specials like smoked brisket and pork chili, and the corn bread! :chefs_kiss: They smoke the meat on site and ring you up out of a trailer that I’m told was once the original Moe’s. This season (2023) they got a liquor license so you can also buy some beers and hard seltzers, though I’d recommend opting for the lemonade or sweet tea served out of those big orange jugs (or maybe even mix them together), especially on a warm day. (We do get warm days in Leadville!)

We had the family platter on Saturday and chose the turkey (or you could have done pulled pork) and had excellent cornbread, Mac n cheese, cucumber salad, coleslaw and more. Just a brief break in the weather gave us the right window to get filled up!

Everything was excellent! We had a small rib plate & a smoked turkey plate. Each cam with 2 sides and toasted corn bread. The cauliflower, beans and Banana Pudding was great. Mac and Cheese was okay. Seating was mostly outside but the have a small inside dining area. They do serve the ribs sauced, next time I will get sauce on the side.

Not really what I’d consider good BBQ. It was decent enough to be edible after a long ride on the motorcycle, but we’ll likely never go here again. The brisket on the brisket sandwich was very tough. The Mac n cheese was like they melted slice cheese over it or something, and I’m not sure we wanna call it coleslaw, but absolutely not what I’m thinking when I order said dish. Definitely more Northern BBQ, than Southern.

Tommy, Austin, Dale, Mark and Harvey, you all were spot on. Loved the large platter of ribs (6), cooked and seasoned perfect. Corn bread, yum!Loved the outdoor courtyard, they had a indoor( trailer ) dinning area as well. Go support the locals.
