I ordered an adobo chicken burrito with brown rice, black beans, corn, cheese, lettuce. Topped off with a mixture of hot sauce and kickin cayenne sauce. I haven’t had Moe’s in a while but that burrito was GREAT, the sauce mixture was recommended by the young lady who made my burrito which she did a great job as you can see. You can never go wrong with a burrito from Moe’s, if you haven’t had one this is your sign to go try it.

I must give a shout out to London and Jordan who assisted in making my order. I was getting 3 steak tacos and London saw there was not much steak left and right away started cooking more steak in such a pleasant and happy manner. Jordan who assisted her in making my order was also very cordial and pleasant. My husband commented on how great they tasted. The grilled steak is the best in this Mexican fast casual segment by far. That’s really all they have going for them. When I asked for extra meat the three scrappy pieces I got felt like a real scam. The customer service is enough to sell you the food but nothing special. Tables were dirty and the “hot sauce” table all tasted like sweet apple sauce. I’m not coming back.

Moe’s is a good alternative to Chipotle. We don’t eat everything here, but what we do eat is more consistently better. The Stack with white meat chicken, queso, and jalapeños is very nice. This particular Moe’s isn’t the best Moe’s. We’ve found it’s safer to order take out instead of pick up if you want what you ordered. Also the available ingredients is more accurate ordering in person. It’s generally clean and friendly, but in-store diners are usually scarce.

The rice & corn salsa was dry as the Sahara Desert, the adobo chicken was burnt and inedible, and the customer service was poor. I ended up throwing the bowl away (and basically my money) I won’t be returning.

How does a review of a business go from rock bottom to become impressive? Well this place did. I wrote a bad review last month. I was actually contacted by an apologetic mgr (Mr. Tye) following my blistering review. He made no excuses but explained an issue existed with an employee who was non customer focused. I was not looking for anything but acknowledgment and empathy that a bad dinning experience had occurred previously. He was receptive to my complaint. He had me come back and they made it right. Food was excellent on my visit today and I will be back.
