This was my first time having Moe’s. My wife and I are from California and our son lives in Shreveport. He has been raving about Moe’s for years to us and we finally had the chance to enjoy it. It immediately reminded me of Chipotle back home. The atmosphere and food are similar but Chipotle cant match the flavor. Southern food has so much flavor! I ordered the chicken bowl and it was delicious. The manager was very polite and helpful. 10 out of 10, I recommend!

Chipotle style restaurant and I would prefer to go here rather than the one in town. Customer service could use an improvement but I was greeted at the door so that was nice. Food was good, place qas clean but a bit outdated. You get chips with your meal so that’s cool and I like how they have a separate sauce stand that you can add to your food.

Not sure what has happened within the past two weeks. Attitudes are terrible now. Pinky is very unfriendly. Did not speak and treated all customers like this. I was not offered salsa, chips and queso, or a drink. There were no vegetables ready. When I asked, I was told “we do not have any”. Also witnessed staff members cursing and laughing at each other. Manager felt bad and did give me a free drink. Probably will just go across the street to chipotle. These young ladies need to be taught professionalism and there needs to be some standard. Please review cameras on 6/27 at 7 pm.

We have always loved Moe’s but this trip was by far the worst. When we walked in no one and I mean no one said welcome to Moe’s and the entire 40 minutes yes 40 minutes we waited in line no one said it to anyone. We waited 40 minutes and there was only 5 people in line ahead of us every time you wanted an ingredient they’d have to stop and get a refill pan from the back because they were all empty the lady in front of us they lost her bowl it’s like an assembly line so don’t know how they lost it but they did. I ordered nachos and said I want quest on them and she said that’s going to be extra I said extra for cheese on nachos and she said oh that right my bad no one stayed in a spot on the service line which is probably why it took so long they all kept moving around it was complete chaos. Worst experience ever don’t know if we’ll come back.

First time eating at moe’s. They are kinda like the subway build your own burrito style of southwestern chain/restaurant. This establishment is located in busy shopping center with plenty of other restaurants surrounding it. The building itself is a shared space with other stores, moe’s has the corner space of the building. The interior is well decorated pretty much the same modern stylings you would expected to see in a chain style restaurant to try to give itself a personality. They have the menu on the wall or in little foldable menus, with cute little names for their burritos and quesadillas, me and my wife got the earmuffs basically a burrito served in a bowl without the tortilla. All menu selections come with chips and they have various dips you can try. Now the food itself is pretty bland and nondescript even for Tex-Mex the steak tips are soaked all day long in a broth since this is a build your own burrito style establishment, which is also a downside because the quality of the food and freshness suffers because of it. My rice was either over cooked or under cooked so I had hard crunchy rice. The lettuce was wilted and soggy. And the chips that they served with their dishes tasted like stale tostitos chips. What boggled my mind is the amount of people that were lined up to eat there, as I’ve said this area has no shortage when it comes to authentic as well as Tex-Mex Mexican cuisine restaurants that are far superior in quality and in taste. after trying moe’s i would rank it maybe just above taco bell because the only saving grace is that it wasn’t very expensive. So I can only guess that people eat there either out of convience being so close to all of the other stores or maybe its because they are not that expensive or they have never had good Mexican food. But for me I seriously doubt that I will be visiting moe’s in the foreseeable future.

I have only been here a couple of times and both times I really enjoyed the service. Not only to get to customize your order, you get plenty of food! I had enough for the next day. And it’s not as expensive as other places like this. They have an array of items to choose from. I love the queso and salsa. What I also noticed is, they kept the eating area extremely clean. We will be back!
