I used Too Good To Go to try out this restaurant for $4.99 and the food is so delicious that I’d pay full price. The spaghetti wasn’t the best but the rice and beans were tasty and the meat wasn’t bad either. There was a good flavor in the gravy; however, the rice was flavorful enough not to need it. In addition, I got a portion that I was able to eat for two days.

I order through door dash. The dasher went to pick up my order after the restaurant proceeded and confirmed my order. A lady from the restaurant told me she would not give the dasher my order because she could see my order because her system was down. After explaining to her I can tell her my order and the dasher can show her she refused. She began getting an attitude and hung up the phone. I called back to tell her that was not professional and why is she being difficult. The dasher is there waiting to pick up my order. She started raising her voice and hung up again. Door Dash contacted me advising they told her the dasher could confirm and show my order and she refused.

I placed an order on doordash for chicharron and sweet plantains. some lady proceeded to call me and tell me i didn’t pay for the plantains and they were an additional $5 even though they were an included side and when i tried to explain that she talked over me then hung up. i called again and she told my doordash driver to cancel my order and hung up again, so i pulled up to the restaurant 10 mins later and conveniently she wasn’t there and the chicharron was no longer on the doordash menu. there was a nice guy named john who helped me and gave me my correct order so that one star is for him. that lady though, was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional over some very mediocre food.

Who do they have taking the orders here???? An absolute moron, that’s who!!!! What a stupid lady taking the orders! Tried to order a mofongo, and she’s going to tell me that she might send me the sauce…if she has it!!!! Who’s going to eat a dry mofongo???? Avoid this place like the plague!!! Ordered a whole chicken which usually come chopped up, I get home and it’s literally a whole chicken not chopped or nothing. I wonder what the heck the lady was thinking….I was born in the area but after COVID this place is just nasty and pricey too. Julio (the owner) should be attending his restaurant more instead of drinking outside with his buddies.

I ordered delivery and it was FIRE. Avocado was fresh, mofongo wasn’t dry, the pernil was moist with crispy skin, and the flavor of everything (maduros and fried cheese included) was great. Didn’t have room for my tres leches dessert yet, but it looks like it’s gona hit.
