I ordered a California burrito with fajita veggies instead of meat. Specifically said peppers and onions. They put a ton of carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower on it it?! It was disgusting and I couldn’t get any money back.

We ate at Mojitos for lunch and were seated right away. We were immediately served with chips and a wonderful tasty salsa. Our drinks came back quickly. Our meal was at our table in minutes. The food was fresh and good. This would be in my top 10 Mexican restaurants in the Des Moines, Ankeny area. The restaurant itself was nothing super fancy, but there were plenty of booths, and everything was clean. The service was great and the workers were pleasant and quick. The three of us ate for about $50.

The food here exudes a distinct freshness that is immediately discernible upon tasting. Unlike dishes that have been prepared hours or even days prior and carry an unpleasant sodium buildup, everything I’ve tried at this establishment tastes like it was just made. This is the reason I keep returning, not to mention their delectable Horchatas and chori-queso, as well as the warm chips and salsa. The servers are always coming back to see how they can help. This deserves a 5 star!!

This is such an amazing place! The food is delicious. The music is great. The staff are a bunch of stars. Seriously, everyone is friendly and happy and nice. I love the atmosphere here. The servings of food are huge and so yummy. I had enough to take home for two more meals. The price is good here too. I definitely recommend!

I’ve been so anxious to try this place and I’m so happy we made it there tonight! They have a large menu so there’s something for everyone! Even those kids who are picky eaters and only want mac’n’cheese or a hamburger… So they can go and be happy while you indulge in those amazing margaritas and other Mexican favorites!!
