What happened to this location? Brisket tastes like it was boiled, sides taste like reheated leftovers. I’ve had better pulled pork from a can. Easily the worst BBQ I’ve had in Jacksonville including my office cafeteria. Ordered here a month ago and it was good as usual.

My husband and I were looking for something different for dinner we came across this place. The food was tasty there onion rings were big and tasty the meats were delicious the chilli had a spicy kick to it. I have been eating here since the original one had opened in Jacksonville Beach. Yesterday was one of the best experiences that I have ever had at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the portions are huge and you get what you pay for. I love the one in Jacksonville Beach but since I live on this side of town I will continue to consistently eat at this location. I encourage you to try the 3 meat combo! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is terrific! The prices are right! If you love barbecue look no further and come try Mojo’s! You will not regret it!

I love the food here very much and go here at least one a month for years, but when I spend $50 on food I don’t want to be told they have to charge me for each thing of honey mustard I want for my chicken tenders. They literally would give me no honey mustard for free included in my FOUR chicken tender meals. I refuse to go here again because of this policy, just because I’m that petty yes.

Good was good, but it has gotten very expensive. We ate dinner on Wednesday at 7 pm. Our waitress seemed totally out of it. We never got refills on our drinks, were missing sides, never got the sides we were missing, the extra items we asked for never came, our cards were rang up for the wrong meals. We asked for boxes and sauces to go and got 1 box for 4 people and no sauces. It was very disappointing for 2 people to order food, 2 drinks, and 2 banana puddings, and it was $63 before the tip.

The environment was cool. It had cool pictures on the wall. The service was excellent. It had a great lay back feel to it. My one complaint would be the pull pork and the collard greens. I would not visit this place again but overall the place was okay…….. my girlfriend said the burger was great. It had big toppings on it. She didn’t like that she could not get the ketchup out of the old school bottle. I just hit hard for and come out. I like that the fries was hand cut. Really it is a nice place for some people. Oh 2.99 for a sode. Overpriced for quantity and quality.

My wife and I ate at Mojos for lunch. The staff especially Joey were friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the country fried chicken with creamy gravy, corn grits, and Mac-n-cheese. I ordered the 2 meat (brisket and pulled pork), Mac-n-cheese and smoked corn. We had the burnt brisket ends for an appetizer. All of the food was fabulous. The portions were huge and we had enough to take home for another meal.

First, Makalya was the sweetest!!! She recommended the Whole Hawg dinner, depending on how much you eat, it’s enough for 2-4 people. Potato salad made with skin on potatoes, corn was cut from the cob. Brisket was fork tender. Will be back!!!
