Your typical Arab-run ghetto restaurant. Unlike their other location, I did appreciate that the owner told me the pepperoni is beef but NOT halal. The chili ave location just tells you “everything’s halal!” The pizza was ok, even if the dough seemed a bit chewy. The wings were a little tough; they should make them from fresh but instead they take them from under a heat lamp and serve them. I did see the owner give some food to a homeless person that came by. I thought that was good of him. I probably won’t be back though because there was no pride taken in how the place looks which reflects poorly on us. “Al-nadhaafa min al iman.”

Mediocre at best .. I wanted to try them and support local. The sore is really dingy.. whoever was working, didn’t greet anybody coming in to order.. French fries were unsalted, chicken tenders were small, and seemed basically out of a bag and dropped in a deep fryer.. they have almost no selection for soda which, even though the menu did not specify, I was restricted to cans instead of bottles (there is 1 offbrand option and a diet cola). But the real kicker for me was the fact that they do not give you any dip for your chicken tenders, and then have the audacity to charge one dollar for one measly side of ranch… three out of five stars will not return.

Ordered a pizza for pickup they told me 20 minutes 20 minutes I went to pick it up. Door was locked but the lights were on, including the open sign. Banged on the door and called several times. No response. I see the guy in there making my pizza. You know what he should have done 20 minutes ago. He finally turns around and sees me through the window and says 1 minute. Like bro I just saw you toss it in. At least call and tell me it was delayed or something. Nope. I’ll just go to dominos where I can get 2 med pizzas and garlic bread for the same price with a 30 min guarantee. Have fun selling a whole large pizza before close.

I ordered food here for my son who asked for pizza for his birthday. The kids enjoyed the food but when i gave my card to pay they took longer than normal with my transaction. As i asked for my card they told me it would just be a moment so i looked around the posted papers that were covering them and saw that there was a man continuously swiping my debit card. I asked for it back and they told me their machine was messed up. I told them if that was the case they should have told me and i could have made the choice of going to an atm or not. They said they were calling the person to fix it. And the next day my account had multiple transactions taken all for the same price of the food i payed and they were from the mojos and from a square mobile card reader. When i called about the issue i was told i wass wrong and it didnt happen and i called the monday after and after telling the person over the phone that if the problem was not rectified i would come back with an officer i was told i would be given the charge back that was taken from me. When i went back to get it i was told by them that it wasnt true as i was showing them my statment from my bank and they tried to once again ask for my card and swipe it.

I used Grubhub, and that’s about as far as the positive goes. Order chicken breasts, and I know they were fresh from the frier, because the styrofoam container had melted from the grease. But, as fresh as it was, it was still dry to eat. And the seasoning was sooooo salty. I also ordered a roast beef sub. I think the preparer of my order scraped off the outside of a pot roast, and dredged up from the pan all of the dry, over-cooked piece of roast beef he or she could find. Then, put it together on a nice hoagie bun, and figured I wouldn’t notice there wasn’t the right ratio for having extra cheese. And somehow, the roast beef is way over salty too. I probably should give them one star, but the chicken was very fresh…just not that good.

I love this place!!! They take pride in their wings and it shows. Love the fact that they deliver to places most won’t. After about my 3rd time there they remembered my order and name. The steak subs here are the best!!! Very friendly. Definitely recommend this place especially if you live near them, they treat their regulars like family I can see why so many stick with them.
