Probably the best overall cafe experience I’ve ever had, Paris to Portland to Pennsyltucky. Atmosphere is great, relaxed and not too loud. All surfaces clean. Food is excellent, and came very quickly (we had the big bean burrito and hiker toast). Even the tea was lovely – and as someone who doesn’t drink coffee, good tea is hard to find! I’d happily come here every day if I lived closer, and you can bet we’re making a trip here when we get around to riding the creeper.

I was in town to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail..I needed lunch one day and Damascus doesn’t have that many options during the slow season so you take what you can get.

Love this place. Great local spot to grab some food and a brew to start your day. This time, I had the Club Wrap and a Frappe

We had a wonderful stay at the Dragonfly Bed and Breakfast. Lovely room, gracious and kind hosts, friendly dog and even a place to store our bikes. Such an added plus were the two restaurants that our hosts also owned and operated. Breakfast provided, such a treat! Great trip all around!

The restaurant was nice and the food was good. However, one of the workers was “training” someone new. He was a young kid who probably is experiencing his first job. She literally talked down to him the whole time. We overheard her warn the kid that “she is abrasive”. How about we teach people by showing them how to do things without talking down on them the whole time. My boyfriend and I were appalled by her treatment of this poor kid. The fact that she was talking down to him in front of all of the customers was just disgusting. We quickly ate our food and got the hell out so we didn’t have to hear her run her mouth any longer. Shame on her. Praise in public, reprimand in private.

The iced coffee tasted like water. The cinnamon roles….well, just buy them from food city and make some yourself and spare the $2 a piece for tasteless rolls. The atmosphere is awesome but 2/3 times I’ve gone and they were closed when they were supposed to be open. Very disappointing.

Mojo’s is a great spot. The wait for food was a little long on a Sunday morning (~10:45am), but we found a table for 4, and the food was sincerely delicious once it arrived. Highly recommend trying one of the avocado toasts!
