Had a fantastic evening dining on the patio. We were seated right away. They did ask if we had a reservation, so we now know they take them. We started with chips and gauc, the chips were fried fresh and very crispy and warm! The guacamole had pomegranate seeds, which was an awesome addition that we didn’t expect to be so tasty. I ordered the Beef Enchiladas, which was an excellent choice. The sauce and beef had a distinct, almost sweet flavor to it . I enjoyed it very much. The wife had Skirt Steak Tampiqueno. This dish had A GRIP of flavor profile. I had a bite of steak and potatoes, and it was phenomenal! DRINKS ARE FANTASTIC! I ordered 2 Naranja Sanguine margaritas, and the wife had 2 Guava margaritas. Highly recommended both beverages. My first-time experience was top-notch.

An hour before closing without a reservation they got me a booth and some incredible cole slaw and chick mole enchiladas. Excellent!! Beautiful lighting and ambiance with bar seating, booths, regular 4 top tables, and outdoor patio seating with heaters on the El Paseo walkway. The cole slaw was like a huge delicious salad, totally recommend. And the traditional margarita was also spot on. Thanks so much

All of the margaritas we tried were excellent. The chips you get with the bone marrow elote, crab guacamole, etc are the best, seasoned with tajin. The aforementioned appetizers were fantastic. I wish you got more fried guacamole, but the lemon sauce is so good. My mole enchiladas were great, so much mole! The carne asada was excellent. It was an excellent lunch all around!

Sooo, we’ve been waiting for Mole to open in California and by chance I looked them up when we were headed to Palm Desert for the night. We’ve eaten at their Sedona location and were blown away with the explosion of flavors in every dish, and their mole, wow! This visit in PD we had the skirt steak & also the shrimp enchiladas, both excellent. Also we started with Blood Orange Drop & a Cadillac Margarita, both refreshing and flavorful. Even their chips & salsa were different and tasty! Can’t wait for another trip out here. Oh, almost forgot, you have to try their flan as well!

I was out at Joshua Tree last weekend to watch the Perseid shower (fantastic btw). During my stay, I came across this wonderful restaurant. Travis, the G.M., was nice enough to greet me and the other patrons. He had solid recommendations and was able to naturally have a fluid conversation. Jenna??? (Sorry), the bartender, provided great service and delicious drinks. Overall, a refreshing experience. Thank you to the Mole team.
