This place is lovely and the food was great! I am giving 4 stars only because the coffee drinks (mocha, capuccino, etc.) were not espresso based as I would expect, instead they used a powder, and as a coffee connoisseur, that was just unforgivable. Besides that, the food tasted like something my grandma would make, which I appreciated.

I had the best tuna melt sandwich ever. All food is made fresh every day, it’s usually very busy but for good reason. Service is super friendly. So if you are in Carson City and you want breakfast or lunch, you should really consider going here!

Sitting here for awhile waiting. Served drinks thats it. Literally threw straws on table. I had to finally go ask if there was someone to take our order. Only 2 small parties were here. One done eating already & one being served. Don’t think I’ll be back due to service alone. I could understand the extremely slow service & rudeness of waitress if the were busy but they were not. Then I had to stand & wait to pay my bill that I was overcharged on while she was talking looking at me standing there.

Pop is a funny guy! Food was awesome! I had the giant cinnamon rolls french toast plate and my daughter had the hungry mans breakfast with a pancake. We shared and were nice and full when we left. Was a decent price too.

I’ve eaten here before and my breakfast was great! I’m not sure what I had before but it was a decent meal. I just ordered an egg and biscuit and they accommodated me which was wonderful. The only problem is, (not sure why they have to grill the biscuit…) They kind of burnt it. I won’t be ordering biscuits here the next time I come but I will come back since their food is good and the service is superb.

This really is the feel of eating at a Mom n Pops place. Indoor seating has large front window to watch the Capitol grounds and downtown Carson’s main st. Great weather days, is outdoor seating. Best Bloody Marys in Carson City.
