This simple omelette – just one, when the restaurant was half empty – with underdone potatoes took 40 minutes to prepare. The man sitting behind me had time to drink three Bud Lights just while I was waiting. I understand that things happen and food can be delayed but I like seeing the staff acknowledge that this is an aberration from their usual performance. There was no such communication or really even eye contact from any of the servers while I waited.

Great experience! Truly home cooking. The food was awesome. This food was cooked fresh not bought in a store. The onion rings are to fire for! The staff was friendly. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

When I visited the other morning Sunday for breakfast it was beyond my surprise. The interior was very welcoming and decorated for the fall compared to prior visits where it seemed to be very sterile. Also the meal I had which was a choice of sausage links or patties I chose the links which were excellent and also I had french toast which I have to say was absolutely some of the BEST I have ever tasted!

So i told my co workers about this place. I told them they’re breakfast is good. I was absolutely wrong about that. So we got our food my co worker ordered flounder and fries. I ordered a breakfast platter. They gave me only 2 tablespoons of corn beef , the eggs were nasty so i took a few bites and through this trash food away. My coworker fish was soggy along with his fries. We had to drive to my house and put it in the air fryer. I didnt leave no tip. I woke up the next morning and seen my payment got updated and they added an extra $10 saying i tipped them. I went up there asked for a refund and they said NO. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE AND CHECK TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVEN’T CHARGE YOU FOR A TIP. THATS HOW THEY GET YOU.

This place reminded of a time. We walked in with brunch in mind and got no greeting at first, but stares from the patrons (that were all white). It was so uncomfortable considering we are black and stuck out. It felt we didn’t belong in the establishment. We left and won’t be returning. The atmosphere is everything when you walk into any diner. The owner should work on making all people feel they belong there when they enter.

We enjoyed our visit ! I wanted some seafood inspired breakfast and had a lovely crab omelet. My husband had an egg platter and added corn beef hash. My daughter had a Micky mouse pancake. Our service was friendly and it wasnt too crowded. We will be back when in the area !
