Momi Nonmi offers a refreshing take on the traditional omakase experience, an adventure that Chef Chris crafts with an individualistic touch. Celebrating my friend’s birthday here turned out to be a unique culinary voyage, one that dared to defy convention.

This is probably the most interesting restaurant in all of Cambridge! I love the atmosphere here, and every dish is so creative and tasty! We came here without reservation and got a seat at the bar on a Saturday evening.

Fantastic dining experience! The omakase was well designed and each dish tasted fabulous. The chef was very friendly and informative and fun to talk to. The price was definitely worth it 🙂

We had an amazing Omakase dinner and it was perfection. Fantastic, unique dishes and some great sake. I highly recommend reaching out to the chef and setting up your done in experience. It’s a small place and I believe he is only doing two seatings per night right now. We had the entire place to ourselves

The food tasted great, but the experience in all was a little disappointing. I went to Momi Nonmi for brunch because Japanese brunch sounded like a unique breakfast option. Aside from the decor however, our food wasn’t that different.

Small intimate venue. Excellent variety of food. My favorite so far is the bento box for brunch. Bay scallops special was exquisite.

My partner and I just had the most wonderful anniversary omakase dinner here. Chef Chris’s dedication to using the best ingredients with no preservatives and doing everything in-house shines through in the excellent food. Would highly recommend contacting the Chef to set up your dining experience, this restaurant is a gem in the area and He is very invested in giving you a memorable experience. Although not traditional to an omakase and requiring extra work, he spent several hours to incorporate our love for Unagi into the most amazing final course of eel for our meal, as an example. Momi Nonmi has quite the curated Sake collection as well!

We ate brunch here and it was amazing. The food was delicious and unlike any Japanese food I’ve had before. There is amazing attention to detail in the taste. They are also incredibly Gluten-free friendly. Only one item on the brunch menu had wheat and the fryer was wheat free.

By far, the best sushi around. I appreciate Chef Chris’s thoughtfulness when he prepares the meals – he labels the container, outlining the sequence in which you should eat the fish, and includes a spreadsheet, indicating which fish is what. Of course you can eat in whatever order you want, but the flavor is optimal in the order he lays out. Tastes just like the sushi I had in Tokyo. Seriously. Fish is so fresh.
