The food was good. Pull pork and ribs where tender . I’ve had better greens before. The mac and cheese needed a little more cheese and some salt and pepper, but it was still good . Last but not least, the Cole slaw was soooooo good. There is a smoking shack right behind the restaurant that will literally lure you in. Picnic style dining and free 2 hr parking. I’m glad we stopped by.

First off, having bbq in Great Barrington is a real win, long needed in this area. Beyond that, the folks running this place are incredibly friendly and warm, and purely on service I will be coming back. Food wise, having just spent 10 days in TX hitting up stellar bbq and smoking meats myself, I think they are doing a great job and it hits the spot. The fried chicken is fantastic, the brisket is tender, and I’d only maybe add some salt or jalapeños to the mac and cheese (but it’s perfectly good as it goes). Really great place, definitely worth a stop in!

We order the ribs (full rack). That came with 3 sides and we were given two waters. The cole slaw was excellent. The salad was very fresh. The corn bread muffins were good. The shining star was the smoked mega ribs with their BBQ sauce – mega awesome. We sat out back and they were smoking away more food. My wife and I were so taken by the taste and quality, that we hardly spoke. This is a destination.

We love this BBQ place and glad for its location. The owners are kind and work incredibly hard. We’ve ordered a large platter for a group of 5 and have also popped in for a quick lunch. My husband likes the brisket sandwich which overflows out of the takeout box and I’m a bbq chicken fan with all the fixings. We are big fans highly recommend.

Took too long for me to stop by for sure! Food is amazing! You can taste the smoke in every bite of the meats, the coleslaw was probably the best I’ve ever had. Mac and cheese perfectly compliments and rounds out the sides for both the brisket and chicken.

We stopped in today while it was raining outside. We got two lunch specials: Ribs with salad & cornbread and pulled pork with salad and coke slaw! We ate it all! It was excellent and just the right price and right amount for lunch! Momma and the guys that work there are a true delight!

The team here is so pleasant and kind—but, unfortunately—the food is a disappointment. I paid $40 for a combo platter that comes with two meats and a side. I don’t eat pork, so I got two pieces of chicken, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. The beans are uncooked and too sweet.

The best barbecue I’ve had in the northeast! Everything is fantastic – especially the ribs and Mac and cheese. Couldn’t recommend Momma Lo’s more, great food and wonderful service. We are so glad to have them in the neighborhood!
