So my husband and I went to the Global Food Market today for the first time visiting from out of town. We looked around the whole Market to start and wound up deciding to try the Momo Dosa street food. The manager there who helped us offered us a free sample which was big enough for me and my husband to share and we ended up ordering some dumplings which were abs incredible! The manager even included a larger variety of flavors than what we ordered at no extra charge! We sat and ate at the stall and honestly it was a really nice vibe and a laid back atmosphere. Later on we decided to go back before returning to our hotel to grab some to go vegetable curry and he was out. I thanked him and we were ready to head out but he stopped us and offered to make more just for us! I told him that wasn’t necessary but he insisted! So 20 minutes later we went back and the food was done, he was so sweet and we tipped him well. After it was all said and done he even gave us a second vegetable/chicken curry meal for free! What a great experience and the food was incredible! I high recommend eating here, they were the best place we ate at in the entire market!

I first had the vegetable samosas at Malcom at the yard about a month ago. They were the best thing I’ve ever tried. I believe I need the recipe to that mint and cilantro chutney… Today I ordered in and Momodosa was my first choice. Again, I had to try the vegetable samosas and they were just as delicious as when I had the first time. So excited that they will be at the Minnesota State Fair this year. I’ been raving to all my friends and family that they have to try this savory pastry!

I ate both momo and dosa at the Midtown Global Market. The dosa was the best dosa I’ve had in Minneapolis- amazing chutneys and perfectly spiced. I’m new to momo but found them delightful! $24 for A LOT of food – I see a lot of negative reviews and honestly I’m surprised- my experience was delicious.

I enjoyed both their Malcom yards and Midtown locations. Great customer service, good is great and the price is fair.

I had the bison momos. Yes they are expensive for what you get (6 momos was $18 with all the extra charges they added). I also ordered but didn’t recieve a dessert dosa. The taste of the mom’s were delicious. There definitely were some harder parts at the top of the momos that made me think they’d been frozen and reheated but the taste was good wth the mint sauce. After trying to clear up the dessert dosa issue I just gave up and got dessert elsewhere. My take away is that it’s good to try once and split with a couple people, however I wouldn’t come back just for myself again.

Had a lovely lunch with my partner, vegetarian momos, dosa, soup & curry. It all was delicious! The dosa was a perfect texture & the soup was rich but not heavy. The curry with was perfectly spiced & the two kinds of chutney + momos were a great way to finish it off. We split everything & it was filling but I didn’t feel overstuffed. The owner? who was working was incredibly friendly as well. Thank you for the nice afternoon meal!!

I’m at the Midtown Global Market and spent $12.73 for 6 little chicken dumplings. It’s supposed to be $9.99 but they have a 20% surcharge. It was good (but not great) and so over priced.

Ridiculous.Being Nepali I thought I would try.I rather make Momo myself at home and eat. 6 momos really and pay tips for to go 30 dollors
