A nice place to stop and grab a bite to eat. I had the breaded tenderloin with onion rings. The tenderloin was nice and tender and seasoned well, a touch on the small side though. Onion rings were hot and fresh. Service was friendly and just what you would expect from a small local eatery. Kudos to the staff (there were only three there) and they were very busy but managed it well. I appreciated the hard work these ladies put in. When I’m back in the area I’ll definitely stop in again.

Great place recommended by my retired buddy. Only a few minutes away from the campsites in the national forest and the scout camp… Excellent Friday fish, fries & coleslaw special. This would be a good place to come up from the south on a motorcycle and go towards Houston!

Went on a motorcycle ride with some friends on a journey to Mom’s because of the ratings. Was running a little late, but they stayed open for us, did not have to. Fed us with a smile. Great food (Country Fried Steak… yum, Brownie with Ice Cream Yum Yum was eying a piece of pie for next time). Got done and my bike would not start. they helped by finding a neighbor that would lend a hand. Offered up any other help that they could do. Just some fantastic folks. Thanks Angie and Dusty and Rick!!!

Everything is delicious! My personal favorites are the bacon, tomato pasta salad, grilled tenderloin sandwich, and grilled chicken wrap! Oh, and the blackberry cobbler!

The food and service was excellent! Even grandkids loved it and they are the pickiest. Food was fresh and made in house, and they even served deviled eggs, which you don’t find very many places. Establishment was well lit and very clean!

My son and I stopped for lunch while on one of our motorcycle excursions. The staff and patrons were friendly and made us feel right at home. I took a piece of lemon meringue pie home for my wife (her favorite) and she proclaimed it to be outstandingly delicious.
