Don’t be fooled by the outside and use the door on the right! It was a great small town bar and had good food. They usually don’t serve food until 4 on Saturday, but I would double check. We had a tenderloin sandwich with cottage cheese and a homestyle steak sandwich with fries. The tenderloin was not paper thin, so it wasn’t the “bigger than the plate” type. But the flavor, breading, and bun make it worthy of becoming a “go-to”! The steak sandwich was a little on the fatty side for my dining partner, but I know most wouldn’t have shied away from it. The fries were great; appeared to be beer batter. The service was amazing and the bartender was attentive. We will be back for sure and are excited to try all the other things on the menu!!

Comfy little ma and pa. The food was beyond what I expected and when I saw northern lights pizza as an option, couldn’t help but think subpar everyday food. Food came out and it was delicious. Definitely made from scratch and all brought to the table in reasonable time for homemade. Had the bbq burger and it was delicious as well. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality of service and the food. On top of that, the place was clean, including the bathroom. Couldn’t have been more pleased with my selection for supper.

Great service, great food..usually. .my order was to go and burger was overcooked (ordered it rare they made it well done) and they forgot the top part of the bun. Second thing in order was a Scooby and it came with no sauce. Normally fantastic food, so I’m hoping this was just a bad day for staff.

The first and perhaps most important thing was that I was immediately greeted by all the employees with warm, friendly smiles! I felt right at home at Mom’s. I met all the friendly locals. My dinner was an order of onion rings and a Supreme Scooby. Everything was so good! The onion rings are more thick than thin and perfectly done. I don’t know what they do to that crust on the Scooby to make it so delicious but it’s lighter and flakier than I expected, and the whole thing was twice as big as I thought it would be for the price. All around this was such a great experience that I left feeling like family.

We went there early had the all you can eat fish fry. It was very good the baked potato was phenomenal. Our waitress was so good so nice. I would recommend this to anybody.

Worth the drive to Maxwell! Good food for a reasonable price. VERY friendly staff. They are remodeling, so dining is in the bar area, but that will be done soon. Glad to have such a great place in our neighboring community.
